I know this is a long shot, but does anybody have any extra tickets for the KOL show Saturday night in Denver? I meant to get tickets, but I kept putting it off, now it's sold out. Please let me know if you have any extras!

It was fantastically amazing. First time I've seen em, and they summarily melted my face off. Short at only 70 minutes, but blistering. Those guys really need to be seen live to fully appreciate them -- they have a stage presence and a swagger that really stands out among pretty much every other band I've seen in the last year. Of course, excluding Pearl Jam in Denver last July.

I stood in front of the merch table, and all I remember is the horridly overpriced buttons (FIFTEEN bucks for 4).

AND, pjtaper, regarding Chris Cornell, funny you should mention it - I had a moment of some serious double-take, thinking somehow they snuck him onstage to drum. Seriously, it's uncanny how much Nathan Followill looks like Chris Cornell at moments.

No, it was seamless. I was behind you for a bit and then I struck out on my own. DUDE did you see those two people laying in the intersection? Looked like some nasty hit and run accident in the rain.

I did not see those people. Sounds crazy!! Yeah, I got the songs, and Patriot fucking ROCKS. (it's no "Everything I do I do it for you", but it's good)

AAAAND, I'm in the process of getting the record player fixed. Any day now! Ended up using tweezers to get the thing apart. I'm so awesome

There are lines in there I just love, and that version from 02 is the one I prefer, even though he did a refined version in Dec 06.
