eh, yeah it's kind of cheesy. but at least he wears the clothes."I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV0 -
As much as I used to be interested in the band Cornel used to be in, I think he wanted to sell out bad. For the cash you know?
Just look at the artwork for Euphoria Morning0 -
yeah, well if you were making music for a LIVING, you might just make a "Euphoria Morning" and join a band called "Audioslave".www.cluthelee.com0

I sort of agree, but Chris Cornell is so self-glorified now it's not even funny.
Just the way he is in Audioslave, like the other guys don't even exist, I really just don't like his attitude that much.
I get the impression that he thought, "ya I guess I could play with the guys from RATM, they're no Soundgarden.....but who cares, everyone's here to watch me."
I dunno, he just pisses me off, how much he loves himself.
I do have both Audioslave albums though"I Miss You Already!!!!!"

i've seen less cooperation in porno movies than in Audioslave.
Those guys look like 4 friends playing in someone's basement.
they're really having fun.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

Agreed.
And as for the thread starter saying Chris was 'selling out', don't use the term is you don't know what it means.

I just think that Chris really centers all the attention around himself,
Have you seen them live?"I Miss You Already!!!!!"

it's the natural order of things... just seems like he gets the most attention.
more importantly i've seen them in studio and heard the way they talk about working with eachother.Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

Fair Enough Dude.
He just bugs me sometimes that's all.
IMO, I do think he puts himself above the band, but hey, we can disagree that's cool."I Miss You Already!!!!!"

I dont really think hes selling out, its not like what hes doing is compromising his or the bands music and image, hes mearly supporting something that he likes and wearsPJ at MSG in 2008! Mission Accomplished
The band all knows. We're too afraid to mention.

sell out or not, that´s one very good looking picture:
http://www.johnvarvatos.com/collection/collection_06_mss.html“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”

Don't know much about the brand, which is part of my point; it isn't like he's promoting Gap and it doesn't seem like the brand has a huge advertising campaign anyway. Not a huge fan of Audioslave, but respect Cornell for what he's done. Like others have said, it's natural for lead singers to be in the spotlight. Look at Bono who does so much good in the world and he's got a huge ego (but at least he knows it).... ego schmeego, that's what I say...0
