Smashing pumpkin fans.

They played Set the Ray to Jerry tonight. First time in more than 10 years. A total shout out to all the hardcore fans. They have only played this track 4 other times in their history!!

I can't believe it.

dammit, I decided not to buy tix for this show because of lack of resources and discomfort of crossing the border nowadays, and seeing this would have been completely worth it. I would have cherished that for sure, one of my favourite SP b-sides :(

  • What a fucking great show last night. I was probably around 20 rows back to the left of the stage. Couldn't believe it when they played that. Wasn't sure what it was at first but then it was like a light turned on and wow. GREAT time.

Supposedly they were supposed to play pomp & circumstance and cherub rock for the encore but played zero instead. I'm not gonna complain about zero but that woulda been great. They probably changed it b/c the crowd sucked. I've never seen a duller audience.

  • Yeah. The crowd apparently only wanted 'hits'

Suprised billy played STRTJ for that crowd.

Pretty much all they cheered for. Predictably Tonight, tonight and 1979 got the most cheers. Bullet too. The new songs sounded great though...b-sides too.

    Great show it was
  • Crowds are picky.. Both times I saw them at the Orange Peel the biggest cheers were for Tarantula, 1979, and Starla. (cooler cities mean cooler crowds :p )

BTW, I flipped shit when I read that they played Jerry.
Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..
