I've been tweaking this mix for sometime now. I've been trying to create a cd that has the darker sounding rock tunes that you can zone out to after blazing up. Here's what I've got so far

Alice In Chains - Rotten Apple
Pete Yorn - Vampyre
Placebo - Pure Morning
Garbage - #1 Crush
She Wants Revenge - These Things
Muse - Time Is Running Out
Tool - 46 & 2
Ravonettes - Aly, Walk With Me
A Perfect Circle - The Noose
Smashing Pumpkins - The Beginning Is the End is the Beginning
Radiohead - Climbing Up The Walls
Sia - Breathe Me

I have some other tracks I can fill in the rest of the disc but I'm just not feeling it. If yall have some other suggestions I'm all ears. Who knows maybe I can find a new artist I'm unfamiliar with. Thanks.

  • The Porcupine Tree - Sleep Together
  • drug me by the dead kennedys
  • I LOVE 46 & 2.

A lot of the tracks off Down on the Upside by Soundgarden would be great.

"Tighter & Tighter" or "Blow up the outside world might work".

From looking at your list seems you want to keep it "rock" but at the same time have the end of the night vibe as well. I think these would work pretty well

    Brombie - Caspian
    Xerces - Deftones
    Exhausted - Foo Fighters
    November Hotel - Mad season
    Christmas Steps - Mogwai
    Lounge Fly - STP
    25 - Veruca Salt

  • I Will See You Songs by My Morning Jacket. It's a bit different than the others, but man... I would love to listen to that song during a "chill" session.

I would also throw on Passenger from the Deftones, with M. Keenan as guest vocalist. That track is so spooky, it always chills me out though
