    it's good because it's so different from what was released on Mtv and CD. they presented it as an acoustic "concert". on the uncut DVD, it is actually more like an acoustic rehearsal with no real setlist. they talk between most of the songs and decide what to play and what not to play. everyone but Cobain wants to play "Sliver", so they play the Leadbelly song instead. this DVD really did a good job showing what kind of a band they really were....kind of a fly by the seat of their pants band with no real destination.

    I have the nirvana and alice n chains unplugged dvd's and I have to say that while I was a huge nirvana fan back in the day I prefer watching the alice in chains unplugged over the nirvana because layne staley's voice is dynamic in that show and they're at least playing their own songs. i never appreciated nirvana as a cover band yet that's pretty much what they are for the most part in that dvd.
