I can't stand Gwen Stefani

She was annoying enough 10 yeas ago with Just A Girl, but nowadays, she's straight out piercing to my ear drums - very painful to listen to. At least with No Doubt, it was sort of punk/rock, with a bit of pop in it. Now it's all about BLING BLING!!!! I like underground and old school hip hop, but the mainstream hip hop of 2006 is very POP like, and GS is a stupid (L.A. Chick) POP Bitch!!!


I don't hate her personally, we all have to make a living, I just hate all that she represents in her music. I wonder how Gavin puts up with that.

Oh, I hate POP with a passion.

    Yeah I agree with the music part...I liked her with No Doubt..but her music now sucks...BUT...she is still friggin HOT !!!...man I'd dig in to her !!

    I've never understood her appeal. Never liked her music, and always thought she looked trashy.

    i watched her performance at some awards show recently....wow....i had no idea what the fuck i was seeing...or hearing. its was dreadful. something about winding her up.....god awful.

    i always liked her with no doubt. i thought she was original and break from the pop princesses, she was a good, strong rock chick. i even liked her first solo album. it was pretty creative and fun to listen to. but i think maybe she's going a little too far now, pushing the pop envelope just a bit too much, ya know. not her best work by any means. that's my two cents anyway...

    I met Gwen backstage at a Bush concert in michigan in 1996, just as she and Gavin hooked up. And I admit it, I was a Gavin freak and I loathed Gwen's existence. She tried to come across as sweet and cute and humble, but she's anything but that.

    She's my height, 5'3" - she wears heels 24/7 to make her look taller. :rolleyes:

    She's ok looking, but without all the makeup, stylists and BLEACH, she would be another brunette from the valley.

    She is business savvy in the past 5 years, and I'll give her that much credit, but it's all style and no substance. Anyone who finds her "music" good does not understand MUSIC, they just like to look at Gwen and emulate her.

    She's overrated and I try to ignore her. How does someone like her and Beyonce get the limelight over someone like Shirley Manson is beyond me.

    haha. that might take a while. i'm sure she'd be screaming phrases like "WIND IT UP!" and "HOLLER BACK!" way before she got to hakuna matada.

    Yeah her new song sounds just like "Holler Back Girl". Sadly, most pop artists get a hit, and then make more of their songs sound exactly like it to get more radio play. Now Fergie on the other hand....

    i heard her new one recently and the first listen was a big WTF, but i do have and like her first solo effort. i am a fan of hip hop and pop though and i think its has a very unique feel to it and some very good beats. it doesn't compare to the first two no doubts though. don't have any past those two however, and don't know if i'm that interested. all three were given to me, but i still enjoy them from time to time. as far as how she looks, she's an f-ing person on tv. i enjoy whats in my actual life. people are just as good looking everywhere as on tv, get over it is my advise. besides she looks like my sister.
