I looked that up on iTunes, and it only has the partial album.
The album is called "Aqualung" and it's a masterpiece. I'm sure you can download it somewhere (look for the DCC gold disc version...the remastered version is horrible).
Go purchase it now, you wont be dissapointed. First album "This Was" is def worth a look, very bluesy. Aqualung is the big hit album. Benefit is great too. DO NOT buy anything after Heavy Horses which was 79 i think
Personally, I think that Benefit is their best album. It seriously rocks. Not everyone will "get" Jethro Tull, but if you do, they are one of the best bands around. I'm only 21 but I have seen them 3 times and they were great each time. This past December we saw them in Florida and they were great, they did a killer version of Aqualung and it was phenomenal. Bouree was great, the only song I wish they would have played is Hymn 43, great song. I hope to see them again this year for their 40th Anniversary Tour.
I agree w/Benefit. But, hell, This Was, Stand Up and Thick as a Brick are great, too. Living in the Past ("Greatest Hits") is a good place to start.
Saw them for two dollars and 50 cents in 1973 (I think). Aqualung had just come out. It was life-changing! For a while, at least
