I had no idea he went solo. I should check out his stuff. TTWS: Fear is one of my favorite albums of the 90's.

ummmm, a private small show. he is scheduled for jammin' java in VA on april 2.
is it tacky if i ask him to sign my liner of "fear?" I'm not sure he'll be selling new cds. I do not own any solo stuff. check him out on amazon.com.

  • lucky you, a private show. i ask because i see you live in md, my uncle lives in md and probably want to go, but its a private show so... :) i have never seen glenn by himself, i have seen toad. i missed the last album or two of his, i have the first 2 albums already, definatly good records, nice and relaxing.

p.s., if i were going I would ask him to sign a cd book. so go for it!

    Amazing voice, great songwriter.

I almost feel bad that i don't support him more but lost track after the initial breakup. I still think Dulcinea is one of my top 15 all time records.

    hey

he played for 22 minutes, a mix of old and new. of couse, he played all I want.
he played another one i recognized, i think it is called walk on the ocean.
i met him and had my pic taken. sadly, in my excitement after the show, i may have deleted it. he's a cute lil shorty too! he's 37 and not wrinkled, looks like he does not go out in the sun.

he sure has a pretty voice, a little more country than i remembered him.

and i forgot my fear cd for him to sign. others brought old cds for his autograph.

i'll put my pics of him in my photobucket

I saw Toad in 1997, shortly before they hung it up.

They were so excellent in the live setting. I still love their music, but rarely find others who still keep up with them.

Go see them if you get the chance.

I'm seeing him this Friday night at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh. It should put me in a good acoustic music mood for Eddie next Thursday in SB. :)

This will be my third time seeing a Glen solo show, and he's always been a great entertainer. I got to see Toad back in '03 during their last reunion tour and I scored the setlist and was lucky enough to get the band to autograph it. Thanks for letting me know they are going to be doing a few shows, I'll have to make sure I'm in Philly that day.

I've never seen him live, but he has an amazing voice (and is a good songwriter too).

Btw, Gavin MacKillop might be one of the most underrated engineers/producers ever.

The recording of Dulcinea is mindbendingly beautiful

it's funny how things work out....last month when I got the email that TTWS was coming to Ram's Head Live in B'more on 6/13, I was disappointed that I could not go because I would be on vacation in South Carolina. I've never seen TTWS.

We canceled our SC vacation so that we can go see Pearl Jam on 6/17...now we're home on 6/13 so I am able to see TTWS. Just bought my tix online.

    woo hoo!

    Ribitt...

Walk on the Ocean is a good song!

Just got back from the show at Club Cafe and Glen was great as usual. He had us making pirate noises during Walk on the Ocean. He lost it when someone yelled, "shiver me timbers". LOL

He played a lot of new stuff and a handful of songs with Jonathon... all in all a very good night. Now, I'm really looking forward to seeing a Toad reunion show. :)

Jonathon was really entertaining too. I wanted to get his EP but it was sold out by the time I made it up there. Got to briefly meet both of them and they are the nicest guys. Well worth checking out if they are in your area.
