Why do you hate leather pants on musicians?

    Not working for me. Loved them on Jim, but anyone else - not so much. :)

    well brett wore them in fuel and when i saw him with a side project in july (it was 90 degrees and he wore leather pants)

    I thought "well everyone but Jim Morrison, yeah.." before I even saw the first post! I think leather pants and Morrison are connected subconsciously in american minds.

    I don't really know why I hate them on everyone but Jim.. just don't like em.

    i think it's cause everyone else doesn't wear them tight enough, nothing worse than baggy leather pants.

    when anyone else where's them, it seems like they're just trying to copy jim, cause leather pants and jim are so tightly associated, like ed and the red wine bottle, if anyone else got on stage with a bottle of red, ppl would say "stop trying to be like ed"

    yeah, i haven't seen anyone look as cool in leather pants as jim morrison. i don't know why, but that's how it is. i wouldn't even dare to try them. however, there are lots of women who look HOT in leather pants. :p

    And there are also a lot of women who do NOT look hot in leather pants, but wear them anyway. Of course, I do. Hahahahahaaaaaa

    I don't discriminate. I hate leather pants on everyone, not just musicians. I just think they're pretty silly looking, and they must be so hot! We all have our own preferences for fashion. Leather pants is just not mine, nor is flannel shirts.

    Leather Pants are a ridiculous symbol of bloated outdated rock star stereotypes. There should be no more of a discussion over thier merrits than of skin tight acid washed jeans.
