Pearl Jam has many many great versions of every song and this one is no different. I would have to say Bridge School 2006 is the one that I'm going with today, tomorrow it may be different. Neil came out after the song ended and you could see he was even amazed. He was shaking his head and kept say "that's beautiful", then he whispered something in Ed's ear and Ed smiled. Then Neil said something like, "I'm still thinking of that last tune, that was great".

true. Tomorrow I'm sure I"ll find another version that's better for different reasons.
My opinion is always changing on this one, but it doesn't get much better than Benaroya Hall...I still get goosebumps when I hear the crowd sing the whole "I know someday....." part. It's beautiful.
there's a version from Canada 2005 i think that is like 20 min. long. pretty awesome. my favorite of all time has to be the Live on Two Legs version. just amazing. mike nailed that solo. its almost what i expect to hear when i hear black played now.

I was thinking of this version too... This show had my favorite Immortality too... Mike on that 12-string just brings so much out!

There was so much great material left off that dvd, it could have easily been their best dvd release.
