What do you know about Blocktoberfest at RFK?

I never went when it used to be held in northern VA. Now that it is at RFK, will they have somebody big headlining. I've been to their website and myspace, as well as pollstar. Every where you look, you find different lists of bands.

I'd buy the early bird VIP seats if I knew who's headlining but I guess they'll raise the price when it is announced! I know the gin blossoms and violet femmes are coming.

Do you know anything? did you go in the past? the pics on their website (when it was held in the street) did not look like something I'd want to go to!

    the gin blossoms are playing at blocktoberfest on october 6th. I got my tix for $15 this weekend.

    the gin blossoms are good enough for me!

    Sounds cool. I wish I could be out there for it. I miss the DC area a lot. I love Seattle but I've been homesick for the things out there too.

    awww at times it's crossed my mind. I like it out here but i miss all my friends back east. It's not the same. I have no one to run to when I'm feeling blue....

    they have raised the ticket price for blocktoberfest. mine were $15, I think they will be $25 which is alot of money for all those local bands.
