definitive live performance of a song

after watching pearl jam's performance of RITFW with neil young on the MTV awards earlier today, it made me think about other performances that were so memorable that they could count as THE definitive live performance of a song...
the beauty of live music is that it never sounds exactly the same as any other day... but if there had to be ONE version that should be remembered if a song was never to be played live again, what would it be?

here are a couple i came up with...

pearl jam & neil young - rocking in the free world (MTV awards)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ym74PFWBhEU

trent reznor - hurt (react now benefit)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=YmQ_ANFOo1M

johnny cash - folsom prison blues (at san quentin)

what else?

Some days you wake up and sit on a park bench next to an eighty year old Russian architect, and some days you don't. I think this is my new life philosophy.

This usually wouldn't come to mind, but I'm listening to it right now - the version of Counting Crow's ROUND HERE from the VH1 Storytellers/Live on a Wire Album...

LIVE's entire Unplugged show was amazing... I still have the grainy tape I recorded it on... the performance of Lightning Crashes that night was absurdly amazing...

I had heard of the quasi-legendary status of Trent Reznor's performance on the "React Now" show but hadn't seen it. All I can say now is...Holy shit...
I am so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month.
