Just saw The Allman Brothers Band in Boston...

Great show, but only because Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks are two of the best guitar players of our day. The whole show pretty much was them jamming (obviously, as is any Allman Brothers show). They did a cool 10 minute drums/bass only thing, and closed with Whipping Post.

Anyone else ever see them? What did you think?

    i've seen them many times, a long time ago, with dickie bettes. they are great, i'm just kind of burnt on some of the songs. i bet warren haynes was awesome. i saw him on a tour with the dead a few years back :)

    I just witnessed a stellar version of Why Does Love Got to be So Sad>Franklins Tower

    That is some of the best live stuff I have ever seen any band do

    I've seen them around 5 times. The current guitar lineup is the best they've had since Duane and Dickey. Derek and Warren are just 2 of the best players out there. Oteil is scary on the bass. These guys are what live music is all about.
