Any Black Keys Fans here? Heard a song of theirs on a jukebox at a local bar, and just got the album "Thickfreakness" by them. Just way cool. I wish there was a bass player, but that guitar tone just about makes up for it. Way way cool. Hopefully they will swing by Toledo and play some time.

They are from Akron, but heading down to Austrialia to play some shows. I'm a big blues fan too to be honest.

I'll have to check out rubber factory for sure.

Dan has an awesome voice and hes my fav guitar player. Im gettin a telecaster for sureThey are awesome, get their first album as well its their weakest but it is so raw and has some stand out tracks.
Apparently they are working on some new material and some Junior Kimbrough covers at the moment, I hope they add a few dates to their Aus tour
  • i wish i saw those guys on this tour, they're sooo good. And i dont think they need a bass player, they're fine as a two piece. but yeah, get Rubber Factory now! and get The Big Come Up too, it is the weakest, but its still awesome.
-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time
  • Sweet I'm planning on checking them all out for sure.

I've heard a handful of songs, and they're really impressive.

They'll most likely play Toledo, they're from Akron, OH, so they play towards hometown crowds. Cleveland is coming up, or just happened, I believe.

Toledo is a horrible supporter of original music. We usually head up to ann arbor or out to akron or cleveland to check out bands.

  • YES!!!! These guys ROCK, one of my very fav bands :D

They're amazing live, very enegetic and LOUD especially for just 2 guys on a stage. I saw them for the first time in a small club in Amsterdam and they where just in the room with the crowd before the show, very cool.
There's a live dvd out too so check it out if you can, unfortunatly I didn't find it in a store here in Holland yet.

You can probably order it on amazon man! I can tell just from the guitar tone that they are load. Probably has that old Plexi head just cranked.
