i hear Neil is back singing... but he's not 100% yet. glad you enjoyed it... i'm cutting down Clutch songs on my iPod because it's getting very out of control!
  • Never new Neil had problems?

yeah, he had a throat infection for awhile. Clutch was forced to play full Bakerton Group sets...not that that's a bad thing...

that's a pretty awesome set! i've never seen La Curondera, Immortal, Child of the City, 8 Times Over Miss October,.........what the heck is Roberts=No Weed???? is "I" the Bad Brains cover??? wow.

I is a Roman numeral 1 like Big News I. Big News I -> Pure Rock Fury is one hell of a way to wrap up a set.

When are we going to get some Eastern PA dates: Reading, Philly, ect.? Still waiting to hear Prison Planet, Basket of Eggs, Curandera, Dragonfly, and Hoodoo. Plus it looks like they have thrown Immortal, 8x Over, Yeti, Wishbone, and Kraken back into the regular rotation. So many cool tunes, and so few area shows.
  • I is Big News I correct.

Neil played a lot of guitar too. No organ player, which bumbed me out. The guitar tech played on 4 or 5 songs.

roberts=no weed, I believe was a instrumental. But I could be wrong

Would love to hear Yeti live!

Is there supposed to be a new Bakerton disc on the horizon? So far they've played Roberts=No Weed, Trees, Work 'Em, and Bill Proger. Would rather have a new Clutch album, but a Bakerton disc would be nice.

Speaking of Bakerton, does anyone know if a physical copy of the Space Guitars EP exists?

    Clutch are the shiznit :D

Seeing 'em for the third time on 29th August \m/
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Do not know. But I'd assume a new Clutch album is always on the way. They've been pooring them out lately

new Clutch record late this year/early next year. also a possible Company Band full length in the near future.

i'm sure there were physical copies of the Space Guitars EP at one time but these days it's just the free download at http://www.pro-rock.com i asked the same question once.... didn't get much of an answer.

i also am waiting for an eastern PA date. Reading won't happen 'cause the guy who booked the Silo stopped booking there (heard he's opening a Crocodile Rock in town though!), and the Chameleon in Lancaster is so sweaty and gross. wrong venue for Clutch IMO. even the Philly shows at the Troc are getting overcrowded to me. Electric Factory would work but you lose closeness of the band............... i'm very picky.

You sound like me when it comes to venue selections. Nothing wrong with that!

I'd take the Electric Factory over the Troc any day. Is the Factory the next step up, venue wise, or would it be the TLA?

A Baltimore gig that doesn't fall on NYE would be nice too.

I wonder what other US dates will be around the A.C. show in August. There's got to be something close on the horizon.

only ever saw one show at the TLA (Stabbing Westward on their last tour) and i wasn't 21 at the time so i was on the floor. it seemed okay, i don't really remember where we parked or any horrible details so i guess i could live with seeing a show there. Baltimore would be cool, but it's a haul and with gas prices the way they are.......shit, i just turned down free tickets to the Reading Phillies tomorrow night just because i didn't want to drive back into town!
