Sonic Youth to release B-Side collection

The Destroyed Room: B-sides And Rarities, a band-chosen collection of near-hidden Sonic Youth gems, will be released on Geffen Records December 12th. The album brings together songs from throughout the band's career with Geffen Records, focusing on tracks previously available only on vinyl, limited-release compilations, or as b-sides to international singles. The tracks were hand picked by the band and also include material that has never before been released.     just got this and must say this compilation will appeal to fans of the bonus discs on the recent deluxe editions.
    majority of the tracks are instrumentals.
    personally am digging Razor Blade,Blink and Kim's Chords best so far
    and of course the 25 minute version of Diamond Sea which just rules.
    album sleeve also contains linear notes for the tracks so yeh its a pretty cool collection for Sonic Youth fans.
