They're a small indie band from Brooklyn. Their 2005 album "Alligator" won all kinds of critical acclaim. Their new album came out in May and is called "Boxer".

They're a favorite of Bruce Springsteen and also David Bowie. They've been compared to Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and lyrically to Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan.

That looks like a really long tour!

Great live band, I've already got my tickets booked for the London show in November.
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...

Cool, glad they are making their way back to the Southeast. I missed them when they came to the Atl in June cause I was on vacation. I figured I would be waiting a good while to see them again. I thought they put on a very good show at Pitchfork last year. Big fan of their last couple of albums and a fan of some of their earlier stuff too.

I was bummed, as I had tickets for their San Diego show when it was cancelled in June. Never thought they'd come back to make it up, and now playing the Wiltern to boot! Hope you can catch them this time around jubla!

Wow that´s great. Saw them live after the release of Alligator 3 years ago and they were great. Looking forward to see them either in Stuttgart or Zurich. Listen to their new album Alligator. Great stuff.
