Pearl Jam is a great way to start a vacation

The tampa Show was Day one of a much needed 9 day vacation from work. I work as a restaurant manager/chef...50-60 hours a week. Lots of stress, lots of drama, lots of back breaking work, lots of phone calls, staff problems, etc etc and more etc. Pearl Jam set the tone for me, I was in happy PJ land for 2 1/4 hours and ever since I have this quasi progressive mind set about the rest of my life....I keep thinking about all the things I could have been or could still do, where I'd be at if I had chosen another path 8 years ago and not the restaurant industry. Some stranger at a thrift store asked me if I was in a band. Yeah, I probably could have been in quite a few by now. Just makes me wonder. The enlightenment of an experience, and how it changes perspective. I dig it.

same here man. i'm a workaholic. working like a madman the past few weeks like i never done before. been doing the weekend jam's too, which i hate alot. i'm a ceramic tile & marble, granite, slate installer. alway's on my knees. moving, laying, grouting. it's an artistic job, but it's alot of hard work.

can't wait till next monday. leaving to nyc. seeing pearl jam 5 times. leaving from boston july 1st. have never gone alone on a vacation like this. should be an experience i'll never forget!

Camden I starts my vacation, but i have to drive 3 hours home after the show to get on a plane to Orlando. Ironically enough, I will then fly back to Philly to change planes.

Sounds like a crazy itinerary....I once flew from Fayetteville, AR to Columbus, OH via layover in Memphis......

Yeah, i tried to convince my wife i should just meet her at the Philadelphia airport, but she wasn't very excited about keeping our 3 year old under control on the connecting flight by herself.

I work in a law office and I work very late nights every single day, so I can't wait until next week!!! I am taking the whole week off to see Pearl Jam at MSG1, MSG2 and Hartford. It will probrably be the best week of the year!!!

i LOVE pearl jam vacations!
this will be my fifth! my hubby's first though - although he's only joining me for 3 shows - but cooincided with the vacation time we had already planned, so perfect! finish the week at work, friday is our anniversary, saturday leave for DC, home on monday, pj at MSG tuesday and wednesday, thursday a day to relax at home, then off with friends friday thru sunday for hartfod and mansfield I. whew! what a vacation! nice thing too, i go back to work for 2 days....then the beacon show....and a 5 day weekend to follow! awesome!

After a quick jaunt to FL for the WPB and TB shows, the real vacation starts Saturday! I feel fortunate that we'll be catching the shows from DC - Mansfield before an all night drive back to NYC to fly back home on Tuesday morning.
Couldn't do it without my "better 1/2," she makes it all possible (that and our Govt jobs).

I'm doing the same thing you are only difference is no Beacon for me! Im hitting Camden 1, MsG 2, Hartford and both Mansfields!
