Hey, anyone hear like Regina Spektor? I keep hearing one of her songs on the radio, and really like it. Its just her and a piano, don't know what its called unfortunately. Can anyone recommend me some of her stuff, or tell me a little more about her?
"I am a doughnut." (live - Berlin, Germany - 11/03/96)

"Behave like rock stars - not like the President." (live - Noblesville, IN - 8/17/98)

Well this is a fine example of how to use the search function. I wanted to post about Regina Spektor and found this pretty old post.

But to the point. I really like her music. Her new album Begin to hope should be out now. From the songs I've heard - Fidelity, Samson, On the radio - it sounds great! You can hear most of these on her website or on her myspace.
  • Yeah I think she's amazing. I believe the song the originial poster is probably talking about is called 'Us'. It's featured on a SKY commercial at the cinemas here in the UK, that's how I discovered the spekter - I was like 'what's that song? I have to get it'.
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
