Are Jimmy Eat World the best band ever?

I never get bored of Jimmy Eat World.

    No i don't rate them at all, pearl jam are the best band ever with bands like the who, kinks, lemonheads and the hold steady close behind.

    Lol, not quite best ever, but they do have some great songs. Clarity is a wicked album, lots of good stuff on there. I look forward to the new one.

    Jimmy Eat World are hugely underrated.IMHO one of the few great bands of the last 10 years.

    Not such a fan of their newer stuff but everything up to and including the album with salt sweat sugar on it is great. Love Clarity and Static Prevails albums most of all.
    People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

    they're pretty solid, I don't know about best band ever though...."Hear You Me" is a beautiful song, and one of their best IMO.

    what they do, they do well though. clarity, bleed & futures are all gold. can't wait for the new one in oct07!!

    and people! please don't lump them in with all that emo bullshit that's out there! futures is a far more mature & intelligent album than it's given credit for

    they're pretty fun. my wife loves them and we saw them before greenday on the 'american idiot' tour. gotta say...a good time.

    to me: J.E.W. stands for: Just Emo Wankers/Whiners.

    I have since modified my position. Clarity and futures are bearable albums, though not necessarily all consuming for me.

    I'm surprised The Hold Steady are on the same level as Pearl Jam and the Who.

    not the best band ever, but pretty darn good.

    saw them in 04, they put on a good show
    makes much more sense to live in the present tense
