I've been obbsessed with Bob Dylan the past few months (again) and whilst reading up on a few old articles I heard his sons band the Wallflowers mentioned. I wasn't too intrigued until I heard Mike Mcready had played lead guitar on one of their albums. Anyone know if these are worth checking out?

yeah, they're worth they're more on a Springsteen vein than on Dylan's.

Try getting their self-titled debut or the most popular of their albums, Bringing Down the Horse. Their newest isn't bad as well.

I have seen them a number of times. They are a pretty hard working band that is always on the road. They do some covers which I always enjoy. They cover the Who's "Won't get fooled again" as a closer sometimes. All in all, they are a good rock band.

I enjoy their music however though they sound great live they are extremely boring boring boring. But definitely a good rock band. A group I saw over the weekend played One Headlight.
  • I think the only album that Mike plays on is "Red Letter Days"

    "BREACH" is their masterpiece though
