Good or bad?

I'm going with the latter. These guys ruined a good Genesis song and now they killed another classic.

Your thoughts, please.

wasnt as bad as i thought...could be a lot worse considering the only thing i like from disturbed is "stricken"...stays pretty true to the original, not as good but maybe this will turn some new people onto faith no more

honestly, sounds pretty damn good. it sounds a lot like the original, which is always a plus.

  • I don't like Disturbed by any means. But I think it actually sounds pretty good, and he does a good Mike Patton.

edit: The end of the song kinda blows though. The 1st 90% of it was good.

A decent cover attempt I thought. Pretty true to the original.

MIDLIFE CRISIS... One of the best rock songs ever, Period!
  • Did you just say 'ruined a Genesis song'?

Much as love FNM and dislike disturbed, I have to say this could have been worse.

It's a fine cover but what's the point?

Too faithful to the original to make it worthwhile. Why not just listen to FNM doing it better?

True, but a certain band's Fan Club single 2 years ago was a cover. It sounded pretty close to the original. :) But it was still good.

  • I hate Disturbed with a passion, but I actually kinda like this. He does sound a little like Mike Patton on it.

you said Disturbed? I don't even need to listen to cast my vote.....bad...no dreadful..no horrendous...no horrible
  • The Drums are really fucking shit

It sounds slower than the original.

and David's vocals are not even half as good as Patton's

Why did they bother releasing this? The original is far superior.

It seriously suffers from the lack of keyboards in the chorus.

I'm usually more forgiving than most when it comes to this sort of thing (re: Panic At The Disco's "Karma Police"), but this is really bad. It's just a mediocre version of the original...aside from the shitty ending.

sounds like listening to it on a turntable and messing with the pitch.

not thath bad, could've been worse

They have also done a cover of "Land of Confusion"

They also covered a song on their first album called 'Shout' - also a cover. (Shout, shout, let it all out - these are the things we can do without)

I have no clue how these guys are playing ahead of Mastodon on the Mayham tour... :(

    They are generally pretty bad.

I did not think the cover was aweful though and good for them for having good taste in music because faith no more rocks.

Didn't the original appear on GTA: San Andreas? Or am I thinking of another song? It sounds familiar.
