    Cool article.
  • Queens Of The Stone Age have just come up with a brilliant marketing ploy. They have sent certain people on their mailing list a copy of the new single Era Vulgaris from the forthcoming album of the same name and asked them to share it with as many people as possible. They are also asking fans to post it to other bands message boards etc. Fans on http://www.QOTSA.com are coming up with all sorts of ideas to get the track out there (some have even posted it on JLo's site claiming that its a rare JLo recording!). If you are intrested in hearing it you should be able to get it from http://www.thefade.net after 12 midnight GMT.

Perhaps Pearl Jam could do something similar - I am sure all us fans could come up with some excellent ideas for raising PJ awareness.

    Seriously

They treat us very well (i think) but they have yet to try and utilize like that.

I tend to think we're a bit brighter and devoted to the cause than the majority of bands followings

That was a very enjoyable, though long interview.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
