Jesus i love this album. Its almost a year after it was released and i am still totally infatuated with it . its soo good and completely different from anything they have done in the past. This album in my opinion doesnt get the recognition it deserves.
i really cant wait to see them live again in december!!

I am going to have to check it out. I haven't gotten into their other stuff. They are touring with Thrice, and I love Thrice. Can't wait for the first two volumes of the Alchemy Index next week.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

that album does kick fucking ass. i saw them last march and they were the most energetic band id seen in a very long time. they're so good. i had tickets to see em next weekend, but i could only make one show that weekend and i picked the new pornographers just becos i've never seen them. brand new's previous album is great as well... deja entendu.

I just listened to the first half of the album last night and I really enjoyed it. It almost had an eerie feeling for me. Like a good scary movie, not sure why, I was listening at my computer in the dark so that might have effected it. I'm gonna give it another listen tonight. Thanks for the recommendation!
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

My favourite record of 2006. It's pretty near perfect for me (except for Handcuffs and Untitled)

It's strange how Brand New has flipped everything round in one album. The first album was pretty laughable (but fun in a tonuge-in-cheek way), the 2nd album was alright, but the last one was awesome. Great live too, hopefully they'll keep it up.

the 2nd one took a long time to grow on me. lyrically, it's very much like the first, but you can see inklings of the epic sound that took over for devil and god. but yeah, that first one i cannot listen to. funny to think they were one chord from being blink 182 or something.

live they are phenomenal. the only bad part was the crowd, but tht could be becos im just too old ;)

same here...I like a few of the songs from their other albums but this is the only one I like as a whole....i'm really excited about the direction this band is going in.
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."
