    Chris Cornell
    Damien Rice

  • All shows in or around Chicago:

Lollapalooza: Ben Harper, The Roots, Black Keys, Spoon, PJ, The Stooges, etc...

    Wilco at Millenium Park

All in all, aside from Lolla a pretty slow concert year for me. I'm sure I'm forgetting some though so I might update once I remember.
    Obama/Biden '08!!!
  • Apparently I had a pretty shitty year....all I'm recalling right now is
Rod Stewart in Little Rock (not sure that was even this year)
Kid Rock (not a big fan but a damn good show)
Black Crowes (Jubilee Jam in Jackson, Miss -- shitty show, Chris never said a word and they only played an hour -- methinks they weren't too happy to be in Jackson)

Next year is going to get off to a good start for me, though, as I am going to catch Foo Fighters in Memphis....hopefully PJ to come later...hahahaha
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Arcade Fire (best show I have ever seen)

wow - thats it.....quality over quantity this year (normally I would see around 20 shows a year......having kids sure cramps my style ;))

Sadly my list was pretty small this year:

    The Weakerthans- MacEwan Hall, Calgary
    Wintersleep- The Warehouse, Calgary

I'm hoping to attend at least a couple more shows before the end of the year, and my New Years resolution for '08 is to beef up my concert resume.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
