Correct - it's like a tournament. I cast my vote, so I figured my PJ peeps would want to vote for them as well.

I think PJ will have to go up against P Floyd after the STP victory.

It was a good run while it lasted.

although i think dark side of the moon is probably the best album ever made(or dam close to it) I'd go with Pearl Jam over Floyd, pound for pound.

dude, just messing around, sorry. My gf used to live in bergenfield. That bar, the wagon wheel was a lot of fun on Sundays.

Nice on that - I've been there a few times, but never on a Sunday......what do they have going on there?
    My lips are shaking.......
  • this was few years ago, but it was like open mic night every sunday and they have these old blues guys that do the drums and bass and anyone could go up there and sing or play guitar with them and they just rocked. They turned potential shit into gold. Les Paul's brother hung out in there too. At least everybody there believed it so I wasn't gonna start shit.

I know this is absolutely ridiculous and off target, but to keep it PJ related: I like some STP, but them up against PJ is kind of a joke.

Ive been to about 40 or so pj shows and have followed them for years. But you cannot honestly say that the 2 bands catologues are even close.

I have the last 2. With PJ winning it all. Radiohead is out. I didn't get to vote today. I didn't even know. It goes to show. They play RHCP about 8x(unofficial guess) more than PJ. And PJ beats them.

  • This whole concept was done by 93.3 WMMR in Philly last year. (The same station that has the 'Ten Club' block of Pearl Jam songs at 10pm every night).

Pearl Jam lost in the finals. It was some serious bullshit. Who did they lose to you may ask? Zeppelin? The Beatles? U2? The Stones? Fucking Nirvana even? None of the above.

    Breaking Benjamin.

That's probably why WMMR decided not to do it again....

I'm guessing they cheated in some way. Over here they disqualified Van Hagar.
