can I take my camera to the show and not use it??

Just in case I wanna take some pictures outside the venue or whatever??? can anyone confirm this?

    I don't know. Do they use metal detectors at shows? If so, then I doubt they'd let you in with one. If not, then I'm sure it'd be fairly easy to sneak one in.

    But why can't you just leave it in the car?

    yeah I mean take a few pictures outside the venue and then run back to the car to leave it...Just trying to avoid going back to the car to drop it...
