Trying to find some new bands to check out, besides the popular ones anybody want to throw some names out there. check out do make say think, some really cool instrumental music, they are canadian, check out the lanlord is dead and when day chokes the night, just an awesome band to put on and let play,

Yeah, I've seen them a couple of times in the Netherlands. Check the album "Mandylion".

don't know if you'd consider them "underground," but relatively unkown: Lucero is an awesome band from tennessee that have an interesting sound that mixes rock, country, and punk. check them out if you get time:

If you like Mastodon, check out this band: Cicadas. They're a little more hardcore and have VERY minimal vocals, but they rip hard.

Hinder is nowhere near underground. They are receiving mainstream rock radio airplay.

BTW, Lucero is a good band. Discovered them on Pandora.
