I had five chances to see them, and I somehow didn't make it to any of them. Once was strictly my fault (1995 Monster tour). Once was just bad timing. But every other time it has been due to incompetance or indecisiveness of other people.
I really hope they do one more tour, or I will be bummed forever. I am going by myself if I have to.
Other than that, the only artists I can think of are deceased, or a crucial part of the band is. INXS, Queen, The Clash, Buddy Holly.
I love my female wife...
we sit around and wonder exactly why our marriage should feel threatened by gay marriage
Joe Strummer died right before he would have opened for Pearl Jam. I would have seen him twice. Instead, we got Sparta.
well i don't think i've ever heard of sparta but i forgot that strummer was going to open for them....when was that?....i have a memory but i can't place when.....

He was going to open up the early 2003 shows, like the first U.S. leg of that tour (around the Denver and Long Island shows that had the Busleaguer controversy)

Can you see me now
I am myself
Like you somehow
I'll ride the wave
Where it takes me
I'll hold the pain
Release me
I'M NOT A SLAVE TO A WORLD THAT DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT.
No question.
