I'm going to compile a sleep/dream playlist to listen to when I go to sleep. I would like any song recommendations as I'm sure everybody as something to contribute that I haven't considered.
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.

    Moonlight - Mono!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B00qU5uc58

    Last Rites - Caspian http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfsSSrzgUTg

    Billy Breathes Phish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rFc19mkRn4

The first two are instrumental and completely epic for a good nights rest
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

That was the first track i selected when i started to make this playlist. Have you heard the original with the fools rush in part?

Something from Doves, like The Last Broadcast or Words. Most of the last album of Patrick Watson.

If you can track it down, "Isa Lei" by V.M. Bhatt and Ry Cooder off the 'Dead Man Walking' Score version of the soundtrack.

I'm sure a few people on this board are familiar with it since Ed is on the CD.

I do agree thoroughly and yet, at the same time, the idea of just having it in the background and not paying attention upsets me :D

love that song so much. probably my favourite piece of music of all time.

I'm really loving The Magnolia Electric Co. by Songs: Ohia right now. It's now all quiet, completely sleepy stuff, but it is a beautiful, haunting album. I can definitely see myself drifting off the sleep while listening to the last song, "Hold on Magnolia." It's a great evening album.

I prefer the score version of the soundtrack. Thanks for mentioning this, as it has been ages since i listened to it.
