So they are going to be breaking out Get Born Again this time around? Maybe I'll have to look into the Camden gig with Velvet Revolver.

  • Does anyone happen to have a HQ mp3 or FLAC of their performance with Gretchen Wilson from VH1? I heard there was a FLAC version going around, but I couldn't find it on any torrent site or otherwise.

the last time they toured, they did about 5-6 song acoustic set in the middle of the show anyway. I think I'd probably pass on this one. I like the acoustic stuff, but I like the heavy stuff mixed in with it. and I like "Got Me Wrong" a lot better with an electric lead in it, the way it was recorded.

anybody know what the status of their recording is? are they doing an album or what? I heard they went into a studio a month or 2 ago and now they're going on tour again? are they doing an album or what?

"Heavy Beside You" sounds like it would make an awesome Weird Al Yankovic song. Anyway, suprising they're doing Get Born Again at all, let alone an acoustic version. Maybe they'll do other lesser or never played tracks, like Shame In You or something. I hope this show gets recorded and goes into circulation..

I totally agree. They are coming to St. Louis as well on Sept. 1st, but I'd much rather see them with the "heavy stuff" as well. That was the best part of the show that I saw of theirs in 1993.

Another thought - what's up with acoustic hour? One hour? I'm sorry, but I would want a little bit more than an hour for my dollar.

Compare that to Chris Cornell, who played for almost three hours, and the price of the ticket was cheaper. He also played acoustic as well, and to me, that is a better value.

considering that its $54 a ticket, i would guess that it will be more than an hour.

does "happy hour" ever last one hour? :)
