i just got peeping tom, mike patton's new record, from a record store owner i know and I have to say its incredible. its not really a hip-hop/pop record like everyones been saying though. For sure more of a rock record, with plenty of distorted guitars. I would to compare it to faith no more with alot of NIN/massive attack type programming and a little scratching added. Overall though, definitely patton's most accessable work in years, probably will give him a big boost in popularity.

also, the artwork/packaging definitely gets my vote as the second best of the year, after Tool. you will see what i mean when it comes out next week.

oh, and mike patton still is the most humanly talented musician alive
If Heaven ain't alot like dixie, then I don't want to go.

  • I watched them on Conan last night and they sounded incredible. Alot like Patton's last hip hop group with Dan the Automator called Lovage. Great stuff, I'm gonna be picking that up for sure.
