Ok....does anyone enjoy Aaron Lewis?
Yeah, I do.
Oh and I'm not one for lists but I understand the "approved list" crap and agree it's a fairly accurate representation of what you're allowed to discuss around here without getting shit canned.

that has always been intriguing
I loved him when he first became mainstream, but I just lost interest.

Yeah, probably by the same people that slammed Patti Smith for doing Alive and Smells Like.....

i bouught that cd with the "hits" on it. "been awhile", and that......other one.
but yeah, it was not hard to lose interest. at least for me.
i once ate liver because my dad thought it was the shit, i loved it the first time, because my dad liked it.
the second time i tried it, i puked because it tasted like shit, and i realized my dad didnt have the best of tastes.
somehow, that is relevant here.

I had never heard this.
2007: Copenhagen, Werchter
2009: Rotterdam, London
2010: MSG, Arras, Werchter
2012: Amsterdam, Prague, Berlin
2014: Amsterdam, Stockholm
This is the kind of stuff I like from him.... Covers, slow songs, ballad type stuff....
but they still sound dire ;p
Yeah it's annoying that some of these bands get so much love because they are in some way associated with PJ.
Brad? Mad Season? Sleater Kinney? Drive By Truckers?
(Also, all 4 of those bands are awesome, regardless of any "associations".)
like Ed, he makes every cover his own and sings with passion.

Have you thanked a taper today?
I actually enjoyed his cover of black, considering it's only him as opposed to the whole band. I also saw him cover release and have to say it was up there. Obviously no comparison to Ed, but pretty damn good if you ask me.

Not at all. It's cool that other people like him and all... but when I hear his voice on the radio and such I always throw up a little in my mouth... Luckily I almost never listen to the radio.
I did have to laugh when I heard his cover of 4 Non Blonde's What's Up though, he can sing pretty damn high!

Sounds like he's pretty polarizing....Much like another frontman we all know and love.
22 years later, i still don't like it, whether it's coming out of Kermit's mouth or Aaron Lewis'
he sounds like kermit the frog
edit: I see im not the only one hahah
