The guys in Muse actually come from a place called Teighmouth which is near me and back in 99 they used to play all the small bars etc and not once did i pop along and see them.I'm kicking myself now!!!

Such a great band!! I love their work!!Fenomenal musicians. :D
Never ever has a band come so close to Pearl Jam when I think of how much I'm impressed. I saw them in Vienna and was blown away. Hands down. Can't wait for the next CD ;)
The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

Their popularity in the states in lagre, but they played at one of the smaller venues in San Diego when they came....I'm just blown away that they could sell out a stadium as large as that!

What other performers have done that?

I saw MCR supporting THEM in Edinburgh. lol

And MCR were booed off the stage. Guess we must have a better taste in music this side of the Atlantic. :D

I wouldn't say anybody over 14-15 years old really "Likes" MCR......

    Beside the point!

MUSE sold out Wembley Stadium! It blows me away because they always play smaller venues in the states. In addition, I would think that the Stones would sell out a venue like that, but MUSE! now way!

Im 31 - I like them. Bought their first album before it was released in the UK and have liked them since. They write brilliant commercial rock songs. Their interviews are ridiculous self centred "woh is me" nonsense, I decided not to go and see them in Manchester because Id probably be one of 5 people over the age of 16 - so I can see why people take a dislike to MCR, but IMHO no-one can deny that they are write good songs, and I'd much rather have their stuff doing well than most of the usual shit.

I saw a video of that, thought it was a bit low to be honest. If like me you hate them, then try and avoid them, but there's no need for that shit.

    Totally fab

They're putting on a second show the following night too because the Saturday sold out so quick. Muse are hugely successful over here now, alot to do with their live performances - absolutely brilliant live. The best of modern British music, imo.

I've followed them for a few years now and it's great to see the way they've developed and grown, now getting the mass success they deserve :)
