i'm in a bit of a rut with music. i need something new. i feel there hasn't been much really worth listening to since the boy bands and brittney hit the airwaves.

please recommend some songs for me to listen to.

thanks.

My favourite song right now is probably Mr. November by The National.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

i wish i'd remember more of my first pj experience. but it was nearly eight years ago, and, dammit, it was cold!

just knowing you had it should suffice. tho time does take away.. good and bad times. and we know that show was good anyway.

The new Goldfrapp album is amazing, especially the song "Happiness". And they put their whole album up on myspace.

Right now I'm loving "Past in Present" by Feist.

But since we're on a message board where many people don't appreciate female singers I'll also suggest "A Ghost to Most" by Drive-by Truckers.

    "Archaeologists" by Wintersleep.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
