Everything All The Time is their only album. The 2 main players in Band of Horses were in a band called Carissa's Weird. After they disbanded Carissa's Weird, they reformed as Band of Horses.

I just picked up this album last week and have been pretty impressed. Reminds me of My Morning Jacket in a way. Maybe it's the sound of the singer's voice, reminds me of Jim James. Also the way some songs kind of rock, but then they have country-ish acoustic songs.

I see this CD really growing on me.

the jim james connection is probably because both singers drench their vocals in reverb.

I'll have to pick up this album very soon.

I just checked them out on MySpace and am really digging the Funeral. I've gotta grab this album when I get a chance.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • I just got the CD yesterday, and thought I'd revive this thread. Amazing album.

I also ordered the tour EP through Sub Pop at the same time. I like the full length better, but the EP is worthwhile as well. Damn, I wish I'd known about this band a few months ago, when I'd have had a chance to see them. I guess I'll have to wait for them to tour on the next record.

Anyway, highly recommended, esp. if you like My Morning Jacket.
Statistically speaking, you're more likely to be pitied by Mr. T than you are to have feet.
