After reading all the negative stuff about STP on here, I was ready for a letdown last night at the show.
Well..... I was wrong! They played close to 2 hours and never missed a beat!! The band was tight and I was surprised how tight Scott was. DEFINITELY a great show last night!!!!!!

    AWESOME!
happy to read a positive review!
i too just saw STP, at jones beach at the beginning of the month...and they were fantastic! glad to read some STP lovin'....i think such a fantstic band, and weiland's issues not withstanding, quite a solid catalogue and talent, on ALL fronts. :)

Glad for you. It's unfortunate that the shows are hit-or-miss but we have to remember who we're dealing with here. When they're on, it's on.

And how was that opening band?

black rebel motorcycle club are great! definitely be sure to check them out if you can... they were WAY too loud considering i was right next to the speaker... but they always make the opening act sound shitty on purpose so it wasnt their fault

and i enjoyed seeing them too! as tight as i could possibly imagine! ya gotta admit that the light show was cheesy as hell though! and a lil heavy on the ground fog... just typical "reunion tour" type shit... great sound though!

Hon, I think that I've seen BRMC 7 times this year...with another show in the wings :p. I love that band and I'm glad that you dig them. They make incredible, relevant noise and I was also very glad that STP hooked up with them. The STP/BRMC bill was a double dose of musical goodness.
