its below par for GNR quite below, its an axl solo song not a gnr song, the intro sounds like november rain for christs sake, and the beat is Estranged. hope it doesnt make it to the album.

Just because the intro is a piano doesn't mean its November Rain, it sounds a hell of alot more like the Blues, another new song. It doesn't remind me of Estranged at all either.

Why because you hear a piano? That sounds nothing like November Rain, or Estranged for that matter.

From what I hear, it's pretty much guaranteed to be on the album. I thought it sounded good myself. I'm buying the new CD regardless.

like i said many times...Axl is the only original member of GN'R left...remember Slash and co. weren't part of the original GN'R so does that mean "Appetite for Destruction" wasn't made by GN'R as well?

but AFD was recorded by the GnR as we like to remember them wasnt it? i think the issue is about the GnR that actually made the music. Since Slash and co left what record has been produced? then now its just Axl chopping and changing the lineup...thats why i think people are getting the impression its not GnR the band. Its Axl and whoever he sees fit. THATs the problem.

still...axl is a brilliant musician and songwriter..ill definitely buy CD

why don't you people go to a fucking Fleetwood Mac forum and diss them for always changing members.
what the fuck more can you ask for? even after listening to the mind blowing demos that Axl and the new guys have made, you still gotta find some fucking fault.
and now even if the AFD era GN'R reunited...i'm sure the haters will find fault in them or just Axl somehow.

for what its worth, i was merely trying to explain why people may not like the fact that axl still calls it GnR. humans like to romanticise and GnR to many people represented a lot more than just a band. can u imagine pearl jam being called pearl jam if everyone else but eddie left the band? wouldn u understand if people had a 'problem' with that? dont get me wrong.. the new music is great.

and at the end of the day...thats all that matters...the music..

nah...it's not you..it's everyone else.
you make good points...but it's just that all the time since i been in the pit everyone has some fucking opinion on Axl like as if they are achieving alot in their own lifes.
everyone has their flaws..be it egos or whatever....the other members have huge egos too but you never hear them getting dissed for it.
for those who missed it..look what Slash had to say aboot his own bandmates

"In October of 2005 Slash made an unannounced 5:30 AM visit to Axl Rose's house. if Axl said those things he would be bashed..but the rest? oh it's fine!
i hope people can realise its the music and not all the other rubbish that happens behind the scenes.

i dont believe that, wheres the source, i believe that slash showed up to Axls house but i dont quite believe what he said. VR fans have however been suspicious of somethin being wrong in the camp from their last show.

regardin u makin refrence to me(and everyone else writin one this topic) iam not bored and dont go out of my way to critise axl. U too have an opinion on Axl and obviously it is always good, i havent seen u once make a negative comment, u are a big supporter of axl or GNR and so am i, thats why i have mixed opinions about him and GNR because it has been in my experience that a band and its name belongs to those started the thing, once a few leave members leave and replacements are constant u cant call the band by its original name, not matter if one buys the rights to the name. Axl would sell records with his own name im sure of that.
so my point is that of course its hard to be satisfied when the original and the best are no longer together makin music, i will still buy the album and enjoy it probably, i just dont like people who like only individual members of a group then say they are the band and the others dont make good music as in the case of GNR and VR, people say oh GNR is better then VR, when its really Axl is better then VR.
