can you "officially" drink at the parking lot before a show?

Ive done it, and seen people do it as well and I have never seen anyone getting busted...can they "oficially" like throw you to jail or something?

    other than Vegas maybe, no. just depends on the venue owner and local cops on how tough the enforcement will be. its private property I don't get why some people can't grasp that concept.

    Illegal acts on private property are still illegal acts.

    its not illegal to drink if you have the right age...

    Public consumption of alcohol is considered illegal in many places regardless of age.

    And private property becomes public consumption if that property is patrolled by the local authorities and is not within the confines of the closed area that the liquor licenses are intact to.

    according to Nevada law , it is even illegal to drink on the Strip , it just isnt enforced, unless you are acting like a douchebag.
