Through the Glass

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time hass passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel, that is the question
But I forget you don't expect an dasy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized
And folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect to bitter folks
And while you're outside looking in
Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

How much is real, so much to question
And never dare make up the mannequins
Contaminating everything
When thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises
(No more sad voices)
Before you tell yourself
It's just a different scene
Remembering is just different form what you've seen

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you

I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone insede your head

'Cause I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you
And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you
Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse
Of my innocence... got back my inner sense...

I bought this album at the weekend. Really like it actually.

I'm not a fan of Slipknot and until I read who was actually in the band I didn't realise there was any connection with them.

This song and Scars are, at the moment, my favourites

Bother is a great song. the riff is pretty damn amazing. much better than slipknot.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

Listening to the end of Zzyxz Rd., I was left thinking that Corey Taylor has listened to "Black" more than a few times... definitely not a bad thing, though.

As for Slipknot, they're one of those rare bands for me. I absolutely detested them when the came out, and have actually started to like them more with each new record. "Subliminal Verses" would never win Album of the Year from me, but there are a handful of good songs there. And this new Stone Sour really rocks my ass off for some reason. It's just a nice, hard rocking record with a bunch of well-written songs. Sometimes, that's all I need.
