i just watched the metallica movie "some kind of monster" and it was fucken cool, so i put on the album, which ive never really listened to before much, but it is fair cool.

i'm watching/listening to a POCO DVD titled Keeping The Legend Alive..
POCO was formed by two members of Buffalo Springfield, Jim Messina and Richie Furay.. they teamed with Randy Mesiner on Bass (also the original Bassist for the Eagles), Rusty Young (Pedal Steel, Dobro, any Guitar you want to hear him play.. Excellence Beyond Compare).. and George Grantham on the drum kit.. an excellent percussionist..
Meisner only played on one album and never toured with POCO.. he jumped to the Eagles... He probably shared some jail bait with Don Henley..
When Meisner could no longer recruit the younger babes, Don decided to raid POCO again and he replaced Randy with Timothy B Schmit, an excellent bassist and singer who had replaced Meisner in POCO.. Schmit wrote and sang the Eagles hit "Don't Ask Me Why" on the Long Road LP..
anyway.. some good tunes from POCO on this DVD .. Crazy Love, Kind Woman, Call It Love, Spellbound, Heart Of The Night, ok i'll stop
nuff said about history.. if you get a chance, give the old songs a listen..
