I don't know where else to say this. But I hope that some of you got to watch Farm-Aid 2017. I watched all 5 hours of it last night, pretending that I was there, drinking a long with them all. The whole thing was amazing. Neil Young can still kick it in the ass!! These old timers are soooo good at their craft. Willie Nelson's son Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, are fantastic in their own right, and then they proceed to back up Neil Young for a steller set. Sheryl Crow was great. David Matthews & Tim Reynolds were on fire. Nathaniel Ratliff is fun, John Mellencamp, the meat & potatoes of rock & roll. Jack Johnson was a great way to kick it off. Blackberry Smoke, oh boy, they are a really tight band. & Oh yea and that 84 year Willie can still bring it, and play with ease and energy with that old beat up guitar of his. Well I couldn't find any video from it yet. So I'll use this one for the time being. Because this is what I'm listening to this morning. Neil Young & Promise of the Real Cortez the Killer
Probably the best bar soundtrack I've heard in years. In no particular order master/slave Jane says, no one knows, no rain... All in pate pate Copenhagen airport bar. It almost makes the £10 beer acceptable

It is SOOOOO good, eh?! I actually just got Sunrise records to get it in for me (to avoid big shipping costs) - not sure how long it's going to take, but I'm waiting impatiently for the phone call!
