    1. OK computer (perfection, heart wrenching, one of the greatest albums of all time)
    2. Kid A (radical and essential, though not the best road into their music)
    3. The Bends (not on level with OK Computer but some of these songs are fantastic, especially if you like "rockers")
    4. Amnesiac (same sessions as Kid A, some great songs but know there is some filler on this record)
    5. Hail To the Thief
    6. Pablo Honey

Also, some of the B-sides from the Bends-OKC time are as good as the album tracks. Look for the Airbag and My Iron Lung EP's (not sure if either are in print).

    OK Computer
    Amnesiac
    Hail To The Thief
    Pablo Honey
  • 1. OK Computer ( No album in my opinion since as been as orginal and so dam electrifying since it's release)

    2. The Bends ( every track is better than creep a quantum lead after Pablo honey)

    3. Kid A ( How to completly disappear is so Emotional, Idioteque is awesome)

    4. Amnesiac ( Dollars & Cents is just incredible and life in a Glasshouse a cracking close to a great album)

    5. Hail to the Thief (There There just gets better and better it just builds and builds until Johnny's guitar kicks in simply magnificent)

    6. Pablo Honey ( not really any evidence to suggest what brilliance was to follow, one of the most ordinary debuts from such a important band)

I actually like Amnesiac quite a bit. Life in a Glass House is AWESOME!

    Here's my ranking:

    1. OK Computer
    2. Hail to the Thief
    3. Kid A
    4. Amnesiac
    5. The Bends
    6. Pablo Honey

I'm just not a huge fan of their first two records. It might be because I got into them a little bit late.

They are all great. This is true. All great for totally different reasons....which makes something like this extremely difficult. I'm gonna make it easier on myself and rank according to which ones I listen to the most. :p

    Some added random thoughts...

~Definitely one of my fav bands! They remind me of PJ in a lot of ways, the variety and approach to music making...and their sheer brilliance of course. :p

~Kid A holds a very special place in my heart

~OK Computer always seems to reign over all others for the hardcore fans although it never has with me, even though I do love the album very much, I've just never been on the same level as everyone else about it. I just find that interesting...always have.

It has absolutely no flow or pacing to it... plus its kid b (been there, done that)

OKC (every song pretty much a classic. Only 'Lucky' is a stumble, other than that - perfect)
    The Bends
... I think these two are far and away better than the rest of their stuff.

Kid A (I dig the album art, and it is undeniably interesting musically, but the electronic vibe is too heavy for me to go back to it as much as either of the two records above. Just not the kind of music I prefer. I can see why others place it so high though.)

Glad to see kid A at the top of most lists. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for digging that album.

I look at The Bends as thier Joshua Tree and OK Computer as thier Actung Baby. Anyone else with me on that?

I'd rate them all but I dont have Hail to the thief or Pablo Honey. One of my favorite bands though I should probably pick those up.

    Ok Computer
    Kid A
    Amnesiac
    Hail to the Thief
    The Bends
    Pablo Honey

And it's not that I think the Bends sucks in any way shape or form, but I did not get into them until Ok COmputer. I heard Paranoid Android and I was hooked, I bought the album and I never looked back. I listened to that album for months and months and never got sick of it.

Kid A was my "wedding" music to say. It came out on Tuesday 10/3. We were in Gatlinburg, TN. We eloped ( a planned elopement if you can call it that!) Thursday 10/5. We were on a 3 week road trip and it was what we listened to the entire time. We then saw them that following summer and it was beautiful. So to me that album means a lot.

Amnesiac is to me all the tracks that got left off from Kid A. So to me they just go together. I think it is a amazing album.

Hail to the Thief is great and a perfect follow up to all of the others.

The Bends is what a change from Pablo Honey. You can start to see what's to come but I am only getting into this album wel after the fact hence why it is low on my list. It's not that it sucks. It's not that I think it's bad at all. It' just that in my personal favorites I would listen to the ones above first. Just my opinion.

Pablo Honey. Sounds like they wanted to be like REM. But if there was not Pablo Honey there would never be any of this so I am glad that it is here!

Do you disregard other peoples opinions enough to say that there is a CORRECT answer???

agreed, i might be wrong is one of their best tunes EVER. If amnesiac came out before kid a, kid a would not be the staple it is.

    1) OK Computer
    2) Bends
    3) Amnesiac
    4) Kid A
    5) HTTT
    6) Airbag ep (sorry, had to sneak it in there. shit, its got polyethelyne)

I see where your coming from on with that, I always look at Ok Computer as their Darkside Of the Moon, ( I believe to be the only modern equivillant of such a milestone ) and kid A as their Wish you Were Here.

Simply because it was a progression after such an important album, they wern't afraid like the Floyd to try something different, plus WYWH like Kid A saw them leaning more to the electronic side, How to completly dispear i think is very reminiscent of Shine On you crazy diamond.
