November 18 at the Uptown in KC!!

    2 openers, Hurt and Monderdayzero
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Great show last night...The venue was kinda weird..The Nokia theater is an old stadium seating movie theater turned into a concert venue. Small floor on the bottom I was like 10 ppl deep middle of the stage really small and intimate. Then there like a small balcony above the floor and then they kept movie theater seats above that.

William Duvall I thought sounded great but his vocals seemed to be to low. They might have done that on purposed to not let him be the main focus. Jerry sounded great on guitar. Acoustic werent that great in the venue but awesome show.

That was the setlist. Wish I was going tonite would have seen the same show again if they didnt even change it up at all and that is rare for me to say that I would want to see a band other then PJ two nights in a row.

    Electric Set 1:
    Again
    Bleed the Freak
    Grind
    It Ain't Like That
    Junkhead
    Nutshell
    Them Bones
    Damn That River
    Rain When I Die
**Layne Tribute** (While the stage crew was setting up for the acoustic set)

    Acoustic:
    Don't Follow
    Brother
    No Excuses
    Killer is Me
    Got Me Wrong
    Down in a Hole

    Electric Set 2:
    Sludge Factory
    We Die Young
    Heaven Beside You
    Angry Chair
    Man in The Box

    Encore:
    Rooster
    Would

LAYNE STALEY BETTER THAN LAYNE. WHAT THE FUCK? I JUST THREW UP IN MY MOUTH. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT WHEN HES ONE OF THE BEST VOICES OF THE LAST CENTURY?! THATS A BOLD STATEMENT MY FRIEND, BOLD.
I would disagree. Layne sounded like dog shit on a lot of the boots I have after he REALLY got into the "H" and whatever else he was into. Pre "H" no one could touch him in the Vox department.

Great show in Tulsa! I'll see them again in OKC, but no one ever can or ever will sing those songs like Layne did.

They were waiting for him to come out in AC and had an extra mike and chair set up for him, but he never made it on to the stage.

When I got there at 7, there were no posters that I saw. I did not see one person carrying one either. I would have purchased it too!

    Excellent show.

Dirt was not played the 1st night, only the 2nd night.

Great show last night in the Falls. I got in early and snagged a spot on the rail in front of Jerry. Amazing experience to see these guys from 10 feet away. Jerry was really on all night. Early in the show this guy next to me gave him a Pittsburgh Steelers hat. He seemed really appreciative and it seemed to put him in a good mood for the rest of the night. William was great, he did sound a lot like Layne. The vocals were a bit low early on, but they turned them up a bit later. Dam That River was a highlight of the first set. Everyone had calmed down a bit by then, giving each other some space, and that one had everyone jumping. The back and forth between Will's vocals and Jerry's guitar on Rooster and Would was really cool, as they took turns taking the lead. Those two have a great chemistry, on the vocals and guitar, especially during the acoustic set. The Layne tribute was cool, more a celebration of his life than a sad tribute. Looks like he packed a lot of living into the brief time they spent touring and recording. Overall, kind of a surreal experience to finally hear these songs live after so many years (I never got to see the original AIC). It's been a long time, but well worth the wait. Definitely check these guys out if you get a chance!

    I seen them twice

once at Download - Donington festival,

    and at the Astoria.

Best show was at astoria, i was like 1-2 metre from jerry and i got a jerry pick. I also met wiliam duvall before the show and shook his hand twice and got a signature.

its a shame both setlists were just hits like 10 songs and didn't get any of these killer 20 + sets with acoustic versions of sludge factory and jar of flies!
