Flaming Lips tour dates

These are some small venues for them. I wonder if they will be bringing the whole set or maybe doing a bit more stripped down kind of thing. I would kind of like to see them play more songs and do less of the theatrics, cause they have some great tunes that get lost in all the crazy shit that goes into one of their typical shows.

    those seem like medium size venues. they did those kind on the fall tour. looking forward to seeing them in athens. they are one of few bands i will go see every time even if they play the same exact set.

    man, id LOVE to go see them again. their set at lolla was awesome. thankfully, they're not coming close, cos i cannot afford another show right now ;)

    Those are perfect sized venues for the lips. Anything bigger than 3000 people is a little out of hand. You really need to be somewhat close to the front to be part of the experience of a lips show. I'd think the HOB shows should be a blast.

    And if I had to guess, I'd say you would be getting the full show.

    doh! I was hoping they'd come back to mpls. They were fantastic when I saw them last summer, I'd love to see them again :)

    they were pretty amazing at the new york state fair in syracuse, september 2006. the only thing is, i wish they'd play a lot longer sets. but by far one of the coolest experiences you can have at a concert though. these guys are pure entertainers.

    Way to play the South, Flaming Lips! Saw them last year @ Langerado and they were outstanding.
