this weekend , im going to see the Mighty Max Weinberg 7 at BB Kings Club. Should be something- maybe, Conan or maybe even Bruce will show up- !

As the long-time drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band (1974-1989) Weinberg has performed for millions of people around the world. Weinberg’s performances on the classic rock albums “Born in the U.S.A.” by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and “Bat Out of Hell” by Meatloaf earned him the distinction of having played on the first and second largest selling albums in rock history.

Mighty Max played on "Bat Out of Hell"? I did not know that. I'm gonna have to tell my folks, they love that album.

I heard he soaks his hands in ice water for about 10-15 minutes after playing.

Have a great time! Max is one of my favorite drummers!

  • don't the eagles have the 1st and 2nd highest selling rock album in history?

Yea the Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 1 is the #1 selling album of all time, Which is fucking crazy. I believe Michael Jackson's Thriller is #2.

No, you quoted it wrong. It's, "I fuckin' hate the Eagles man". The "Man" part is key here. :)

    okay thats cool -

but like i said i think it was within a specific year- (maybe 85' ?) & NOT all time ..

according to meatloafs website Bat Out Of Hell debuted in the US in 1977, so who knows what the people at BB Kings website were talking about,.

i guess that counts only for The US.

worldwide i think "the alien formely known as Michael Jackson" got the #1 spot with Thriller
