Springsteen On Conan Friday

Bruce with his new Seeger Sessions band.

17 piece band , and not 1 electric guitar .

It will be odd to see Bruce up there with another drummer, and the Mighty Maximizer just a few feet away watching . Half of the horn section won't have to go too far, being that La Bamba and Pender are both in the SSBand.

This Friday June 23rd .

    I'm looking forward to it. But yeah, it must be kind of awkward for Max. But knowing Conan, they'll probably make a nice bit out of it. It'll be good television (as always when watching Conan).

    Looking thru my digital cable TV guide listing-

    the info for this show has only Bruce listed ? ! ?

    Perhaps it is a full show dedicated to Bruce ( like U2 and I think the White Stripes also ).
    I am wondering if he will sit down on the couch ( we all know Bruce dislikes interviews - especially with a clown like Conan ) or will it just be a 1 hour hootenanny jam session ?

    Either way , I've got the DVR on ready .

    Off to The Garden tonight for the 1st of my shows on this tour ! I'm stoked .

    that'll be hilarious.

    or, maybe go for the ride behind the desk with Conan and the steering wheel- cruising thru Manhattan or maybe they'll go into the suburbs of NJ . Go for a spin around Asbury Park and The Stone Pony.

    I heard Bruces name but not the rest .

    and the digital cable guide doesnt list any other guests under info.

    OMG - this is priceless- ! Jimmy Fallon did " The Year 2000" w/ Conan, he's playing the spoons and I swear Thomas Hayden Church is playing the morrochas . The entire Max Weinberg 7 were out there, Jimmy Vivino was playing a mini- electric guitar. it had to be be near 30 people up there all at once. :eek:

    All I can say is WOW!! That was truly incredible seeing all those people out their jamming!

    yeah that was one of the better musical performances ive ever seen on TV. left me with a smile on my face when I went to bed. Incredible seein all of those people out there jammin away.

    I like Jimmy Fallon playing the spoons, and check out those bright red suspenders he's sporting ! Then he looks for Bruces approval and the Boss sends him back into the line- hilarious ! Thomas Hayden Church ( morochas ) has not been graced with rhythm, either . ;) ! lol
