Any Snow Patrol fans on here? I was really impressed with "Final Straw" and I am listening to the new album "Eyes Open" on music.aol.com, I am only 4 songs into it and it is amazing. "Chasing Cars" could be a song we all hear a lot of...

I will have to make sure to pick this one up.

    great band who fannied about for a few years before releasing final straw, just starting to listen to the new album but it sounds pretty good so far

    Meh, they're ok. Good Live, I'll give them that. Not too excited about the new album though.

    They're a brilliant band. First two albums are their best, in my opinion before the commercial boom. That's not to say that Final Straw and their new one, Eyes Open aren't good (currently listening to that as I type this message). They're great live, seen them a couple of times and I'm yet to feel disappointed :) Definitly worth checking out.

    'eyes open' is a great album.

    sure, 'chasing cars' was featured prominently in the season finale for 'grey's anatomy,' but that doesn't keep it from being an amazing song (the best on the album, in my opinion). i'm enjoying the entire album quite a bit.

    i just recently got into them by recommendation of a friend. i bought final straw and was flat out addicted. incredible album. the new one isnt bad, but doesnt really have the atmosphere of the prior one. still a strong album though. i like it a lot.

    what are the earlier 2 records like? i cant find them aroudn here but imc urious.
