Your face when sleeping is sublime
And then you open up your eyes
Then comes pancake factor number one
Eyeliner, rose hips and lip gloss, such fun
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Rouge and coloring, incense and ice
Perfume and kisses, oh it's all so nice
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Now we're coming out, out of our closets
Out on the streets, yeah, we're coming out
When you're in bed it's so wonderful
It'd be so nice to fall in love
When you get dressed I really get my fill
People say that it's impossible
Gowns lovely made out of lace
And all the things that you do to your face
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Eyeliner, whitener then color the eyes
Yellow and green, oh what a surprise
You're a slick little girl, oh, you're such a slick little girl
Now we're coming out, out of our closets
Out on the streets, yes, we're coming out
Yeah, we're coming out ...
So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
That is why I'm singing
You've got her in your pocket
And there's no way out now
Put it in the safe and lock it
'Cause it's at home sweet home
Nobody ever told you that it was the wrong way
To trick a woman, make her feel she did it her way
And you'll be there if she ever feels blue
And you'll be there when she feels someone new
What to do
Well you know
You keep her in your pocket
Where there's no way out now
Put it in a safe a lock it
'Cause it's home sweet home
The smile on your face made her think she had the right one
Then she thought she was sure
By the way you two could have fun
But now you're scared
You think she's running away
You search in your hand for something clever to say
Don't go away
'Cause I want
To keep you in my pocket
Where there's no way out now
Put it in a safe a lock it
'Cause it's home sweet home
And in your own mind
You know your're lucky just to know her
And in the beginning all you wanted was to show her
But now she might leave
Like she's threatened before
Grab hold of her fast
Before her feet leave the floor
And she's out the door
'Cause you want
Praying hands grasp a throat
Searching for a song they wrote
Heater just won't warn a frozen spirit
Just a man with a cause
No reward and no applause
If there was a call he did not hear it
Tiny hero fighting big battles
Mind of stone breaks and rattles
The only think I need kiss my disease
And make it all better
Clean me when I bleed justify me
Make words of my scattered lettters
Hunger pains take control
Growling at the tired soul
Withered body just won't meet the demands
Growing older growing weak
Going nowhere future's bleak
Need another spark to fire up the plan
Tiny hero fighting big battles
Mind of stone overcomes the rattles
The wind is blowing cold
Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?
Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow
you call me a dog well that's fair enough
cause it ain't no use to pretend you're wrong
you call me out, i can't hide anymore
i have no disguise you can't see through
well you say it's bad luck
to have fallen for me
what can i do to make it good for you
you wore me out like an old winter coat
trying to be safe from the cold
but when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
you call me a dog
you tell me i'm low cause i've slept on the floor
and out in the woods with the badgers and wolves
you threw me out cause i went digging for gold
i came home with a handful of coal
but when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
and when it's my time to call you a bluff
i'll call you beautiful or leave it alone
you call me a dog
well that's fair enough
it doesn't bother me as long as you know
bad luck will follow you
if you keep me on a leash and you drag me along
and when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
and when it's my time to call you a bluff
i'll call you beautiful or leave it alone
you call me a dog...
i seem so overcome, yeah...
words seem so out of place
words they fall off my altar
how did i get to this place?
seems so, sounds so familiar
lost in my dying, cold cry...
all their dreams, there's a million, yeah...
so does it feel time to say a prayer?
hey, yeah...
hey, yeah...
words they seemed out of place
words they seem out of place
falling out on my face, yeah...
words just seem out of place...
I left my home on the way to Chicago, somewhere out in the middle of the road, Where all my dreams are falling like snow at night I can still see it glowing.... Blowing
Cool breeze baby raam, raam, raam, baby raam, raam
baby raam tonight as your belly will be full with all the season’s allowed... & the baby will raam & the baby will rise above, Baby will raam, You can cool me down like a big fat bird, well hold me down like a tumblin a bird, well, OM with your baby so right, Baby will rise above all the seasons allowed
& the baby will raam & the baby will rise above Baby will raam
Just the bliss of my blood, just the bliss of my blood
We belong in the bliss of my blood, all my days when my days were good. Hold me down in the daze of the sun, Well come along my darling In the daze of the sun
We dismiss the back roads
To ride these streets unafraid
Resigned to scraping paint
From our bones unashamed
No more the eye upon you
No more the simple man
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have guessed all is never shown
Desolation yes, hesitation no
And in my prayers I dream alone
A silent speech to deaf ear
If you want love, you must be love
But if you bleed love, you will die loved
No more the lie upon you
Cast into stone and autumn shade
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have sensed we won't make it home
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Before the rites of spring
Come to mean all things
A little taste of what may come
A mere glimpse of what has gone
'Cause for the moment we are free
We seek to bind our release
Too young to die
Too rich to care
Too fucked to swear that I was there
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have guessed we won't make it home
Desolation yes, hesitation no
They beam things into your head
The ghosts of your pleasure in contempt
When we were liars things were seamless
When we were wired the world was like a secret
I close my eyes now and i scream
I turn the light on and there's nothing left redeeming
I saw your face before it changed
The gun it makes you look nicer in a bad way
So low for how high?
Well it's too late tonight
And i'm sure you're right
As low for how high
And after this there's just the circus
And every morning you carnie heart stops workin
It gets tight in there sometimes
Looking for the defects, talking like it's a reflex
I close my mouth now and i scream
I open the door and there's nothing left redeeming
I saw your face before the rough
You should wait around awhile cause your body's bound to turn up
So low for how high?
Well it's too late tonight
And i'm sure you're right
As low for how high
This is really one of those songs you need to listen to, as opposed to merely reading the lyrics.
Oh, please don't you rock my boat (don't rock my boat)
'Cause I don't want my boat to be rockin' (don't rock my boat)
Oh, please don't you rock my boat (don't rock my boat)
'Cause I don't want my boat to be rockin' (don't rock my boat)
I'm telling you that, oh, oh-ooh, wo-o-wo!
I like it - like it this (I like it like this, I like it like this) -
So keep it steady, like this. (I like it like this)
And you should know - you should know by now:
I like it (I like it like this), I like it like this
(I like it like this, I like it like this),
I like it like this, ooh yeah! (I like it like this)
(Satisfy my soul) You satisfy my soul (satisfy my soul);
You satisfy my soul (satisfy my soul).
Every little action (satisfy my soul),
there's a reaction (satisfy my soul).
Oh, can't you see what you've done for me, oh, yeah!
I am happy inside all - all of the time. Wo-oo-o-oo!
When we (bend) bend a new corner,
I feel like a (sweep) sweepstake winner.
When I meet you around the corner (round the corner),
You make me feel like a sweepstake winner (a sweep - a sweepstake winner).
Whoa, child! Can't you see? You must believe me!
Oh darling, darling, I'm calling, calling:
Can't you see? Why won't you believe me?
Oh, darling, darling, I'm calling, calling
(calling, calling, calling, calling)
When I meet you around the corner,
Oh, I said, "Baby, never let me be a loner",
And then you hold me tight, you make me feel all right.
Yes, when you hold me tight, you made me feel all right.
Whoa, honey, can't you see? Don't you believe me?
Oh, darling, darling, I'm callin', callin':
Can't you see? Why won't you believe me?
Oh, darling, darling, I'm callin', callin'
(calling, calling, calling, calling).
Satisfy my soul - satisfy my soul - satisfy my soul - satisfy my soul:
That's all I want you to do, that's all I'll take from you:
Satisfy my soul, satisfy my soul.
Satisfy My Soul - Bob Marley
"You think I got my eyes closed but I'm lookin' at you the whole fuckin' time..."
Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death place
You that held all the guns
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know I can see through your masks
You that never done nothing
But to build and destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a drug in my head
Then you hide from my eyes
Then you turn and run following the fast foolish line
Like Judas of old
You lie and decieve
A world war can be won
You won't need to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water that runs down my drain
You that fasten all the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you sit back and watch
While the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansions
While young peoples blood
Flows out of their bodies and is buried in the mud
You've thrown the worst fear
That could ever be hurled
The fear to bring children
Into this world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood that runs in your veins
How much do I know
To talk out of turn?
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good?
Will it buy you forgiveness?
Do you think that it could?
Oh I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made will never buy back your soul
And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I'll follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch as you're lowered
Into your deathbead
And I'll stand on your grave til I'm sure that you're dead

I've watched you change
Into a fly
I looked away
You were on fire
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change
I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh
I look at the cross
Then I look away
Give you the lungs to
Blow me away
I've watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change.
Now you feel Alive
You Feel Alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh

Ah, is there room for both of us?
Both of us apart?
Are we bound out of obligation?
Is that all we've got?
I get the words, and then I get to thinkin'
But I don't want to think, I want to feel
How do I feel? And how do I...
If you're the only one, well I'll never be enough, yeah...
Hail, hail the lucky ones
I refer to those in love, yeah...
Ah-how I love you 'til the day I die...ah, and beyond...
Are we going to the same place?
If so, can I come?
It's egg rollin' thick and heavy
All the past we carry
Oh, I could be new
You underestimate me
If you're the only one, well I'll never be enough, yeah...
Hail, hail the lucky ones
I refer to those in love, yeah...
I sometimes realize...
I could only be as good as you'll let me
Are you woman enough to be my man?
Bandaged hand in hand
Yeah...
I find it on my run in a race that can't be won, yeah...
All hail the lucky ones
I refer to those in love, yeah...
If you're my only one...so good, you only one
I want to be your one...enough, you won...your one...your hun...
i've got our love to remember
that will never change
i have you in my head
and no, i'll never hold you
and i'm still asking why
i guess that this is goodbye
my dreams suddenly seem so empty
i could go on my own, but i feel like playin' dead
and for what feels like the first time
i don't know where you are tonight
i guess that this is goodbye
we lived half our lives together
a hundred years is a lot of weight to bear
and the sun, it may be shining
but there's an ocean in my eyes
cause i know that this is goodbye
Wide awake and she shakes in a panic
never woke up alone ever before
had her man long as she can remember
tries to forget, but she can't, she can't...
out of bed and she dreams in the shower
he's standing naked and apologizing
reaches for him `till her mind becomes blood hot
woken up to be burned, burned, again...
go it alone
you got it, so it goes
I wanna breathe and I said
I can't take it any other way
on the streets she's walkin', wounded
doesn't smile for the child at play
thoughts of suicide and alleviation
anything to get her heart off of the coals
does she fly away or just talk about it
like a seagull born to cry in the wind
all experiences lead to a young boy
alone you will meet the one who lies in wait
go it alone
you got it, so it goes
try to breathe, but you can't
you can't take it any other way, yeah, yeah...
..myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, myself
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, myself...
..myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself
wide awake and she shakes in a panic
never woke up alone ever before
had her man long as she can remember
tries to forget, but she can't, she can't, she can't, she can't...
"You think I got my eyes closed but I'm lookin' at you the whole fuckin' time..."
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said
Boy, you've got a friend in me
Yeah, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
If you've got troubles, I've got 'em too
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you
We stick together and can see it through
Cause you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too
Maybe
But none of them will ever love you
The way I do, it's me and you
Boy, and as the years go by
Our friendship will never die
You're gonna see it's our destiny
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
Bwahhhhhhaaaaa!!!! LMFAO!!!
"You think I got my eyes closed but I'm lookin' at you the whole fuckin' time..."
Oh, tonight began with anything
Shadows, a light, a warm breath and a scream, ah yeah...
Oh, tamper if you like between the doors, oh yeah...huh...huh...
Oh, can't expect to go out...to go out...
With anything...anything more...
Oh, reach the door...a breath and a scream...oh, reach the door
And a la la la la yeah
Life ain't what it's worth...a breath and a scream...oh, reach the door
All these reaching hands out grabbin' things, grabbin' me
Day in, day out, accumulating, ah yeah
Whoa, I suggest you step out on your porch
Oh yeah, huh, huh, huh, huh, yeah...
Run away my son, to see it all...oh, see the world
Oh, reach the door...a breath and a scream...oh, reach the door
Oh, and a la la la la yeah
Life ain't what it's worth...a breath and a scream...oh, reach the door
Come...here it comes...there it goes...when it comes...
Where it goes...where it comes...can't see through the faith...
Ooh, come...here it comes...there it goes, grasp what you can...
Don't you know there's something inside your hand, yeah...
Oh, if I knew where it was I would take you there...
There's much more than this, ooh...whoa, much more than this
Oh, see the world...much more than, oh...much more than
Why?
i will light the match this mornin', so i won't be alone
watch as she lies silent, for soon light will be gone
i will stand arms outstretched, pretend i'm free to roam
i will make my way, through, one more day in hell...
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make...
i will hold the candle till it burns up my arm
i'll keep takin' punches until their will grows tired
i will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind
hey i won't change direction, and i won't change my mind
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make..
how much difference...
i'll swallow poison, until i grow immune
i will scream my lungs out till it fills this room
how much difference
how much difference
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make...
Masquerade, masquerade,
Grab your mask and don't be late
Get out get out well disguised
Heat and fever in the air tonight
Meet the others at the store,
Knock on other people's door
Trick or treat they have the choice
little ghost's are makin' lots of noise
But watch out . . beware -
listen . . .take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or paradise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
Someone's sitting in a field,
Never giving yield
Sitting there with gleaming eyes
Waiting for big punpkin to arise
Bad luck if you get a stone
Like the good old Charlie Brown
You think Linus could be right
The kids will say it's just a stupid lie
But watch out...beware -
listen...take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or paradise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
Listen now- we are calling you...
And there's maglc in the air
Magic in the air... on Halloween
Black is the night full of fright
You'll be missing the day
What will be here very soon
Changing your way
A knock at your door
Is it real or is it a dream
On trembling legs you open the door
And you scream. . . . .on Halloween
Darkness
Where am I now
Is there anybody out there
What has happened
Am I in heaven
Or is it hell
I can see a Light comin'
It's comin' nearer
It's shining
It's shining so bright
It's shining on me
I am the one, doom 's in my hands
Now make your choice,
redeemed or enslaved
I'll show you passion ang glory
He Is the snake
I'll give you power and abundance
He's the corrupter of man
Save me from the evil one
Give me strength to carry on
I will fight for all mankind's
deliverance and peace of mind
But watch out...beware -
listen...take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or pardise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
She don't wander in here. Don't wander in here. She, she don't wander in here. Don't wander in here.
The direction of the eye. So misleading.
The defection of the soul. Nauseously quick.
I don't question our existence.
I just question our modern needs.
She don't wander in here. Don't wander in here. She, she don't wander in here.
I will walk with my hands bound. I will walk with my face blood.
I will walk with my shadow flag into your garden. Garden of stone. Yeah.
After all is done and we're still alone. I won't be taken.
Yet I'll go with my hands bound. I will walk with my face blood.
I will walk with my shadow flag into your garden. Garden of stone. Yeah.
I don't show. I don't share. I don't need, yeah, what you have to give. Yeah.
Ooh, I will walk with my hands bound. I will walk with my face blood.
I will walk with my shadow flag into your garden, garden. Oh.
I will walk with my hands bound. I will walk into your garden. Garden of stone.
I don't know. I don't care. I don't need, yeah, for me to live. Yeah, yeah.

Oh...
State of love and trust as I busted down the pretext
Sin still plays and preaches, but to have an empty court, uh huh
And the signs are passin', grip the wheel, can't read it
Sacrifice receiving the smell that's on my hands...hands...yeah
And I listen for the voice inside my head
Nothin', I'll do this one myself
Lay her down as priest does, should the Lord be a countin'
Will be in my honor, make it pain, painfully quick, uh huh
Promises are whispered in the age of darkness
Want to be enlightened like I want to be told the end, end, yeah...
And the barrel shakes, and, a-directly at my head
Oh, help me, help me from myself
And I listen, from both sides of a friend
Nothin', I'll do this one myself
Uh huh, huh, oh...
Myself...myself...
Yeah, yeah...
Hey, na, na, na, na, hey, that's something
Hey, na, na, na, na, hey, that's something
Hey, na, na, na, na, hey, that's something
Wanna back, back it away, yeah, huh, uh
And I listen, oh, for the voice inside my head
Nothin', I'll do this one myself
Oh, ah, and the barrel waits, trigger shakes, aimed right at my head
Won't you help me, help me from myself
Hmm...state of love and trust, and a...
State of love and trust, and a...
State of love and trust, and a...
State of love and...yeah...
i've got a feelin', a feelin' deep inside
i've got a feelin', a feelin' i can't hide
i got a feelin'...
oh please believe me, i'd hate to miss the train
and if you leave me, i won't be late again
i've got a feelin'...
and i don't understand, how come nobody told me?
why i'd want to sing like milli vanilli
all i ever wanted was someone who looked like you...you...
i got a feelin', that keeps me on my toes
i got a feelin', i think that everybody knows
i got a feelin'...
everybody had a good year, though we never saw the sunshine
everybody had a wet dream, making temple was a good time
everybody made a movie, everybody had one line
everybody misses andy, we'll be seein' him in no time
i got a feelin'...
i got a feelin', a feelin' deep inside
i got a feelin', a feelin' i can't hide
i got a feelin'
Working Class Hero
Words and music by John Lennon.
As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
When they've tortured and scared you for 20 odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
Keep you doped wit religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
If you want to be a hero just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow
So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
That is why I'm singing
He said to me over the phone he wanted to see other people
I thought, well then, look around, they're everywhere
said that he was confused
I thought darlin' join the club
24 years old mid life crisis
nowadays hits ya when you're young
I hung up he called back I hung up again
the process had already started
at least it happened quick
I swear I died inside that night
a friend he called
I didn't mention a thing
the last thing he said was be sound
SOUND
I contemplated an awful a thing I hate to admit
I just thought those would be such appropriate last words
but I'm still here
small so small
how could this trouble seem so big
so big
where the palms in the breeze still blow green
and the waves in the C still absolute blue
but the horror every single thing I see is a reminder of him
never thought I'd curse the day I'd met him
and since he's gone and wouldn't hear who would care
what good would that do
but I'm still here
so I imagine in a month or twelve
I'll be somewhere havin' a drink laughin' at a stupid joke or just another stupid thing
and I can see myself stopping short
drifting outta the present
sucked by the undertow and pulled out deep
and there I am standing wet grass and white headstones all in rows
and in the distance there's one off on it's own
so I stop kneel, my new home
and I picture a sober awakening a reentry into this little bar scene
sip my drink till the ice hits my lip
order another round
and that's it for now
sorry
never been to good at happy endings
"You think I got my eyes closed but I'm lookin' at you the whole fuckin' time..."
If you twist and turn away
If you tear yourself in two again
If I could, yes I would
If I could, I would
Let it go
Surrender
Dislocate
If I could throw this
Lifeless lifeline to the wind
Leave this heart of clay
See you walk, walk away
Into the night
And through the rain
Into the half-light
And through the flame
If I could through myself
Set your spirit free
I'd lead your heart away
See you break, break away
Into the light
And to the day
To let it go
And so to fade away
To let it go
And so fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no
If you should ask then maybe they'd
Tell you what I would say
True colors fly in blue and black
Bruised silken sky and burning flag
Colors crash, collide in blood shot eyes
If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would
Let it go...
This desperation
Dislocation
Separation
Condemnation
Revelation
In temptation
Isolation
Desolation
Let it go
And so fade away
To let it go
And so fade away
To let it go
And so to fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no
up here in my tree, yeah
newspapers matter not to me, yeah
no more crowbars to my head, yeah
i'm trading stories with the leaves instead, yeah
wave to all my friends, yeah
they don't seem to notice me, no
all their eyes trained on the street, yo, oh
sidewalk cigarettes and scenes, [tem-pted]
up here so high i start to shake
up here so high the sky i scrape
i'm so high i hold just one breath here within my chest
just like innocence
eddie's found a home
oh at last the trees fall
eddie's blue sky home
oh at last the trees fall
i remember when, yeah
i swore i knew everything, oh yeah
let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah
it's growing up just like me, yeah
i'm so light the wind he shakes
i'm so high the sky i scrape
i'm so light i hold just one breath and go back to my nest
sleep with innocence...
up here so high the boughs they break
up here so high the sky i scrape
had my eyes peeled both wide open, and i got a glimpse
of my innocence... got back my inner sense...
baby got it, still got it
So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
That is why I'm singing
Bat your eyes girl
Be otherworldly
Count your blessings
Seduce a stranger
What's so wrong with being happy?
Kudos to those who see through sickness
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
I suggest we
Learn to love ourselves before it's made illegal
When will we learn?
When will we change?
Just in time to
See it all fall down
Those left standing...will make millions
Writing books on the way it should have been
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
Floating in this cosmic jacuzzi
We are like frogs oblivious to the water starting to boil
No one flinches
We all float face down
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
Oh my name it is nothin'
My age it means less
The country I come from
Is called the Midwest
I's taught and brought up there
The laws to abide
And that land that I live in
Has God on its side.
Oh the history books tell it
They tell it so well
The cavalries charged
The Indians fell
The cavalries charged
The Indians died
Oh the country was young
With God on its side.
Oh the Spanish-American
War had its day
And the Civil War too
Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
I's made to memorize
With guns in their hands
And God on their side.
Oh the First World War, boys
It closed out its fate
The reason for fighting
I never got straight
But I learned to accept it
Accept it with pride
For you don't count the dead
When God's on your side.
When the Second World War
Came to an end
We forgave the Germans
And we were friends
Though they murdered six million
In the ovens they fried
The Germans now too
Have God on their side.
I've learned to hate Russians
All through my whole life
If another war starts
It's them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
To run and to hide
And accept it all bravely
With God on my side.
But now we got weapons
Of the chemical dust
If fire them we're forced to
Then fire them we must
One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
And you never ask questions
When God's on your side.
In a many dark hour
I've been thinkin' about this
That Jesus Christ
Was betrayed by a kiss
But I can't think for you
You'll have to decide
Whether Judas Iscariot
Had God on his side.
So now as I'm leavin'
I'm weary as Hell
The confusion I'm feelin'
Ain't no tongue can tell
The words fill my head
And fall to the floor
If God's on our side
He'll stop the next war.
With God On Our Side. BOB DYLAN.
"Reality continues to ruin my life." - Calvin & Hobbes.
Things can be broken down
In this world of ours
You don't have to be a famous person
Just to make your mark
A mother can be an inspiration
To her little son
Change his thoughts, his mind, his life
Just with her gentle hum
So different, yet so the same
Two sisters only have their parents to blame
It's rare that two can get along
But when they do, they're inseparable
Such a blessing comes to few
The sky is full of clouds and
My world's full of people
All different kinds with different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
No one's exactly the same
He and she, two different people
With two seperate lives
Then you put the two together
And get a spectacular surprise
'Cause one can teach the other
What she doesn't know
While still the other fills a place inside
He never knew had room to grow
Once in a while I sit back
And think about the planet
Most of the time I trip on it
To kick back and think about
How massive it all is
And how many others are on it
I often think about the world
In which I live today, of animals and plants
And nature's gift set in display
But the most amazing thing
That I've seen in my time
Are all the different people
And all their different minds
And different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
No one's exactly the same
So many different people
So many different kinds
So many different people
So many different kinds
Look at me, I'm a person
Look at me, I'm my own person
So many different people
So many different kinds
For better or for worse, different people

Your face when sleeping is sublime
And then you open up your eyes
Then comes pancake factor number one
Eyeliner, rose hips and lip gloss, such fun
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Rouge and coloring, incense and ice
Perfume and kisses, oh it's all so nice
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Now we're coming out, out of our closets
Out on the streets, yeah, we're coming out
When you're in bed it's so wonderful
It'd be so nice to fall in love
When you get dressed I really get my fill
People say that it's impossible
Gowns lovely made out of lace
And all the things that you do to your face
You're a slick little girl, you're a slick little girl
Eyeliner, whitener then color the eyes
Yellow and green, oh what a surprise
You're a slick little girl, oh, you're such a slick little girl
Now we're coming out, out of our closets
Out on the streets, yes, we're coming out
Yeah, we're coming out ...
That is why I'm singing
And there's no way out now
Put it in the safe and lock it
'Cause it's at home sweet home
Nobody ever told you that it was the wrong way
To trick a woman, make her feel she did it her way
And you'll be there if she ever feels blue
And you'll be there when she feels someone new
What to do
Well you know
You keep her in your pocket
Where there's no way out now
Put it in a safe a lock it
'Cause it's home sweet home
The smile on your face made her think she had the right one
Then she thought she was sure
By the way you two could have fun
But now you're scared
You think she's running away
You search in your hand for something clever to say
Don't go away
'Cause I want
To keep you in my pocket
Where there's no way out now
Put it in a safe a lock it
'Cause it's home sweet home
And in your own mind
You know your're lucky just to know her
And in the beginning all you wanted was to show her
But now she might leave
Like she's threatened before
Grab hold of her fast
Before her feet leave the floor
And she's out the door
'Cause you want
To keep her in your pocket
Praying hands grasp a throat
Searching for a song they wrote
Heater just won't warn a frozen spirit
Just a man with a cause
No reward and no applause
If there was a call he did not hear it
Tiny hero fighting big battles
Mind of stone breaks and rattles
The only think I need kiss my disease
And make it all better
Clean me when I bleed justify me
Make words of my scattered lettters
Hunger pains take control
Growling at the tired soul
Withered body just won't meet the demands
Growing older growing weak
Going nowhere future's bleak
Need another spark to fire up the plan
Tiny hero fighting big battles
Mind of stone overcomes the rattles
Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?
Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow
So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?
cause it ain't no use to pretend you're wrong
you call me out, i can't hide anymore
i have no disguise you can't see through
well you say it's bad luck
to have fallen for me
what can i do to make it good for you
you wore me out like an old winter coat
trying to be safe from the cold
but when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
you call me a dog
you tell me i'm low cause i've slept on the floor
and out in the woods with the badgers and wolves
you threw me out cause i went digging for gold
i came home with a handful of coal
but when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
and when it's my time to call you a bluff
i'll call you beautiful or leave it alone
you call me a dog
well that's fair enough
it doesn't bother me as long as you know
bad luck will follow you
if you keep me on a leash and you drag me along
and when it's my time to throw the next stone
i'll call you beautiful if i call at all
and when it's my time to call you a bluff
i'll call you beautiful or leave it alone
you call me a dog...

words seem so out of place
words they fall off my altar
how did i get to this place?
seems so, sounds so familiar
lost in my dying, cold cry...
all their dreams, there's a million, yeah...
so does it feel time to say a prayer?
hey, yeah...
hey, yeah...
words they seemed out of place
words they seem out of place
falling out on my face, yeah...
words just seem out of place...
Words Seem Out of Place

Well, cool breeze Baby raam, raam, raam Baby raam, raam
Baby raam, tonight As your belly will be full with all the season’s allowed
To ride these streets unafraid
Resigned to scraping paint
From our bones unashamed
No more the eye upon you
No more the simple man
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have guessed all is never shown
Desolation yes, hesitation no
And in my prayers I dream alone
A silent speech to deaf ear
If you want love, you must be love
But if you bleed love, you will die loved
No more the lie upon you
Cast into stone and autumn shade
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have sensed we won't make it home
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Before the rites of spring
Come to mean all things
A little taste of what may come
A mere glimpse of what has gone
'Cause for the moment we are free
We seek to bind our release
Too young to die
Too rich to care
Too fucked to swear that I was there
Desolation yes, hesitation no
Desolation yes, hesitation no
As you might have guessed we won't make it home
Desolation yes, hesitation no
The ghosts of your pleasure in contempt
When we were liars things were seamless
When we were wired the world was like a secret
I close my eyes now and i scream
I turn the light on and there's nothing left redeeming
I saw your face before it changed
The gun it makes you look nicer in a bad way
So low for how high?
Well it's too late tonight
And i'm sure you're right
As low for how high
And after this there's just the circus
And every morning you carnie heart stops workin
It gets tight in there sometimes
Looking for the defects, talking like it's a reflex
I close my mouth now and i scream
I open the door and there's nothing left redeeming
I saw your face before the rough
You should wait around awhile cause your body's bound to turn up
So low for how high?
Well it's too late tonight
And i'm sure you're right
As low for how high
This is really one of those songs you need to listen to, as opposed to merely reading the lyrics.
(I like it like this)
(Satisfy my soul) You satisfy my soul (satisfy my soul);
You that build all the guns
You that build the death place
You that held all the guns
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know I can see through your masks
You that never done nothing
But to build and destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a drug in my head
Then you hide from my eyes
Then you turn and run following the fast foolish line
Like Judas of old
You lie and decieve
A world war can be won
You won't need to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water that runs down my drain
You that fasten all the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you sit back and watch
While the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansions
While young peoples blood
Flows out of their bodies and is buried in the mud
You've thrown the worst fear
That could ever be hurled
The fear to bring children
Into this world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood that runs in your veins
How much do I know
To talk out of turn?
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good?
Will it buy you forgiveness?
Do you think that it could?
Oh I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made will never buy back your soul
And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I'll follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch as you're lowered
Into your deathbead
And I'll stand on your grave til I'm sure that you're dead
Pearl Jam at Bridge School 03/ org. Bob Dylan
I've watched you change
Into a fly
I looked away
You were on fire
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change
I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh
I look at the cross
Then I look away
Give you the lungs to
Blow me away
I've watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change.
Now you feel Alive
You Feel Alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh

I want to be your one...enough, you won...your one...your hun...
that will never change
i have you in my head
and no, i'll never hold you
and i'm still asking why
i guess that this is goodbye
my dreams suddenly seem so empty
i could go on my own, but i feel like playin' dead
and for what feels like the first time
i don't know where you are tonight
i guess that this is goodbye
we lived half our lives together
a hundred years is a lot of weight to bear
and the sun, it may be shining
but there's an ocean in my eyes
cause i know that this is goodbye
Jason
never woke up alone ever before
had her man long as she can remember
tries to forget, but she can't, she can't...
out of bed and she dreams in the shower
he's standing naked and apologizing
reaches for him `till her mind becomes blood hot
woken up to be burned, burned, again...
go it alone
you got it, so it goes
I wanna breathe and I said
I can't take it any other way
on the streets she's walkin', wounded
doesn't smile for the child at play
thoughts of suicide and alleviation
anything to get her heart off of the coals
does she fly away or just talk about it
like a seagull born to cry in the wind
all experiences lead to a young boy
alone you will meet the one who lies in wait
go it alone
you got it, so it goes
try to breathe, but you can't
you can't take it any other way, yeah, yeah...
..myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, myself
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, myself...
..myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself
wide awake and she shakes in a panic
never woke up alone ever before
had her man long as she can remember
tries to forget, but she can't, she can't, she can't, she can't...
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said
Boy, you've got a friend in me
Yeah, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
If you've got troubles, I've got 'em too
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you
We stick together and can see it through
Cause you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too
Maybe
But none of them will ever love you
The way I do, it's me and you
Boy, and as the years go by
Our friendship will never die
You're gonna see it's our destiny
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
Bwahhhhhhaaaaa!!!! LMFAO!!!
Someone is awfully playful this morning.
There's much more than this, ooh...whoa, much more than this
Oh, see the world...much more than, oh...much more than
Why?
watch as she lies silent, for soon light will be gone
i will stand arms outstretched, pretend i'm free to roam
i will make my way, through, one more day in hell...
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make...
i will hold the candle till it burns up my arm
i'll keep takin' punches until their will grows tired
i will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind
hey i won't change direction, and i won't change my mind
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make..
how much difference...
i'll swallow poison, until i grow immune
i will scream my lungs out till it fills this room
how much difference
how much difference
how much difference does it make
how much difference does it make...
Jason
Grab your mask and don't be late
Get out get out well disguised
Heat and fever in the air tonight
Meet the others at the store,
Knock on other people's door
Trick or treat they have the choice
little ghost's are makin' lots of noise
But watch out . . beware -
listen . . .take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or paradise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
Someone's sitting in a field,
Never giving yield
Sitting there with gleaming eyes
Waiting for big punpkin to arise
Bad luck if you get a stone
Like the good old Charlie Brown
You think Linus could be right
The kids will say it's just a stupid lie
But watch out...beware -
listen...take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or paradise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
Listen now- we are calling you...
And there's maglc in the air
Magic in the air... on Halloween
Black is the night full of fright
You'll be missing the day
What will be here very soon
Changing your way
A knock at your door
Is it real or is it a dream
On trembling legs you open the door
And you scream. . . . .on Halloween
Darkness
Where am I now
Is there anybody out there
What has happened
Am I in heaven
Or is it hell
I can see a Light comin'
It's comin' nearer
It's shining
It's shining so bright
It's shining on me
I am the one, doom 's in my hands
Now make your choice,
redeemed or enslaved
I'll show you passion ang glory
He Is the snake
I'll give you power and abundance
He's the corrupter of man
Save me from the evil one
Give me strength to carry on
I will fight for all mankind's
deliverance and peace of mind
But watch out...beware -
listen...take care
In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or pardise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!
Yeah, It's Halloween
Yeah, it's Halloween. . .tonight
Halloween by Helloween (am I showing my age? lol)
Yeah, yeah.
State of love and...yeah...
i've got a feelin', a feelin' i can't hide
i got a feelin'...
oh please believe me, i'd hate to miss the train
and if you leave me, i won't be late again
i've got a feelin'...
and i don't understand, how come nobody told me?
why i'd want to sing like milli vanilli
all i ever wanted was someone who looked like you...you...
i got a feelin', that keeps me on my toes
i got a feelin', i think that everybody knows
i got a feelin'...
everybody had a good year, though we never saw the sunshine
everybody had a wet dream, making temple was a good time
everybody made a movie, everybody had one line
everybody misses andy, we'll be seein' him in no time
i got a feelin'...
i got a feelin', a feelin' deep inside
i got a feelin', a feelin' i can't hide
i got a feelin'

That is why I'm singing
I thought, well then, look around, they're everywhere
said that he was confused
I thought darlin' join the club
24 years old mid life crisis
nowadays hits ya when you're young
I hung up he called back I hung up again
the process had already started
at least it happened quick
I swear I died inside that night
a friend he called
I didn't mention a thing
the last thing he said was be sound
SOUND
I contemplated an awful a thing I hate to admit
I just thought those would be such appropriate last words
but I'm still here
small so small
how could this trouble seem so big
so big
where the palms in the breeze still blow green
and the waves in the C still absolute blue
but the horror every single thing I see is a reminder of him
never thought I'd curse the day I'd met him
and since he's gone and wouldn't hear who would care
what good would that do
but I'm still here
so I imagine in a month or twelve
I'll be somewhere havin' a drink laughin' at a stupid joke or just another stupid thing
and I can see myself stopping short
drifting outta the present
sucked by the undertow and pulled out deep
and there I am standing wet grass and white headstones all in rows
and in the distance there's one off on it's own
so I stop kneel, my new home
and I picture a sober awakening a reentry into this little bar scene
sip my drink till the ice hits my lip
order another round
and that's it for now
sorry
never been to good at happy endings
If you twist and turn away
If you tear yourself in two again
If I could, yes I would
If I could, I would
Let it go
Surrender
Dislocate
If I could throw this
Lifeless lifeline to the wind
Leave this heart of clay
See you walk, walk away
Into the night
And through the rain
Into the half-light
And through the flame
If I could through myself
Set your spirit free
I'd lead your heart away
See you break, break away
Into the light
And to the day
To let it go
And so to fade away
To let it go
And so fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no
If you should ask then maybe they'd
Tell you what I would say
True colors fly in blue and black
Bruised silken sky and burning flag
Colors crash, collide in blood shot eyes
If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would
Let it go...
This desperation
Dislocation
Separation
Condemnation
Revelation
In temptation
Isolation
Desolation
Let it go
And so fade away
To let it go
And so fade away
To let it go
And so to fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no
In My Tree
up here in my tree, yeah
newspapers matter not to me, yeah
no more crowbars to my head, yeah
i'm trading stories with the leaves instead, yeah
wave to all my friends, yeah
they don't seem to notice me, no
all their eyes trained on the street, yo, oh
sidewalk cigarettes and scenes, [tem-pted]
up here so high i start to shake
up here so high the sky i scrape
i'm so high i hold just one breath here within my chest
just like innocence
eddie's found a home
oh at last the trees fall
eddie's blue sky home
oh at last the trees fall
i remember when, yeah
i swore i knew everything, oh yeah
let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah
it's growing up just like me, yeah
i'm so light the wind he shakes
i'm so high the sky i scrape
i'm so light i hold just one breath and go back to my nest
sleep with innocence...
up here so high the boughs they break
up here so high the sky i scrape
had my eyes peeled both wide open, and i got a glimpse
of my innocence... got back my inner sense...
baby got it, still got it
That is why I'm singing
Be otherworldly
Count your blessings
Seduce a stranger
What's so wrong with being happy?
Kudos to those who see through sickness
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
I suggest we
Learn to love ourselves before it's made illegal
When will we learn?
When will we change?
Just in time to
See it all fall down
Those left standing...will make millions
Writing books on the way it should have been
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
Floating in this cosmic jacuzzi
We are like frogs oblivious to the water starting to boil
No one flinches
We all float face down
When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by
My age it means less
The country I come from
Is called the Midwest
I's taught and brought up there
The laws to abide
And that land that I live in
Has God on its side.
Oh the history books tell it
They tell it so well
The cavalries charged
The Indians fell
The cavalries charged
The Indians died
Oh the country was young
With God on its side.
Oh the Spanish-American
War had its day
And the Civil War too
Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
I's made to memorize
With guns in their hands
And God on their side.
Oh the First World War, boys
It closed out its fate
The reason for fighting
I never got straight
But I learned to accept it
Accept it with pride
For you don't count the dead
When God's on your side.
When the Second World War
Came to an end
We forgave the Germans
And we were friends
Though they murdered six million
In the ovens they fried
The Germans now too
Have God on their side.
I've learned to hate Russians
All through my whole life
If another war starts
It's them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
To run and to hide
And accept it all bravely
With God on my side.
But now we got weapons
Of the chemical dust
If fire them we're forced to
Then fire them we must
One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
And you never ask questions
When God's on your side.
In a many dark hour
I've been thinkin' about this
That Jesus Christ
Was betrayed by a kiss
But I can't think for you
You'll have to decide
Whether Judas Iscariot
Had God on his side.
So now as I'm leavin'
I'm weary as Hell
The confusion I'm feelin'
Ain't no tongue can tell
The words fill my head
And fall to the floor
If God's on our side
He'll stop the next war.
With God On Our Side.

In this world of ours
You don't have to be a famous person
Just to make your mark
A mother can be an inspiration
To her little son
Change his thoughts, his mind, his life
Just with her gentle hum
So different, yet so the same
Two sisters only have their parents to blame
It's rare that two can get along
But when they do, they're inseparable
Such a blessing comes to few
The sky is full of clouds and
My world's full of people
All different kinds with different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
No one's exactly the same
He and she, two different people
With two seperate lives
Then you put the two together
And get a spectacular surprise
'Cause one can teach the other
What she doesn't know
While still the other fills a place inside
He never knew had room to grow
Once in a while I sit back
And think about the planet
Most of the time I trip on it
To kick back and think about
How massive it all is
And how many others are on it
I often think about the world
In which I live today, of animals and plants
And nature's gift set in display
But the most amazing thing
That I've seen in my time
Are all the different people
And all their different minds
And different ways
It would take a lifetime to explain
No one's exactly the same
So many different people
So many different kinds
So many different people
So many different kinds
Look at me, I'm a person
Look at me, I'm my own person
So many different people
So many different kinds
For better or for worse, different people
Different People ~ No Doubt
