what dya think of em? while i think the lyrics to childhoods end can be a bit cheesy and not nearly as focused towards expressing what, i think, roger wanted to express and which concept i like...i love the way dave comes in, only played it live a few times and i love every one of em!

Raving and Drooling was the early concept of what became 'Sheep' on a little mini tour they did to try what became a good part of the Animals album. some would think too long and drawn out but i think they sounded pretty good
standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

Childhoods end is exactly as you say, a little lyriclly short but Gimour has an awesome solo. That record is great. Raving and drooling is ok.

Childhood's End is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs. I just love the rockin' feel of it.
